Today's giveaway is Coenobita spinosus, (see the NFT here), aka the Forest Hermit Crab, aka, the Hairy Hermit Crab, aka, my favorite hermit crab. It's a fairly large member of the genus, found from Northern Australia to throughout Polynesia, usually residing further inland than other heirmit crabs. Also what makes it distinct is the large amount of setae (hair) that it's body is covered with.
