It very often happens that tinsel town is devoid of creativity  and they create a bastardized version of something unique and authentic. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then the industry has created a nice euphemism for liars and thieves. Demolition Man is a guilty pleasure of mine it's not particular well put together but it's a old movie that I still find enjoyable for the one liners and the premise is so bad that it's good. John Spartan is an officer that uses excess force (destruction of public/private property) to bring criminals to justice and his main antagonist is Simon Phoenix a Los Angeles drug kingpin manic that requires a manic to take him down. While apprehending  Phoenix, Spartan is held responsible for the hostages that supposedly died in the explosion of the building they were in after Phoenix rigged the place to blow. John and Simon are cryogenically frozen into the future city of San Angeles where during a parole hearing Phoenix escapes causing havoc to the Utopian society where individual rights have been sacrificed for safety of all. "In the end it took just one man, one cop... John Spartan. They called him the demolition man." The appeal of the movie is a man out of time ill equipped to fit in a society that has abolished all the social norms of his time. "Ah smoking is not good for you and it has been deemed that anything not good for you is bad and it's illegal. Alcohol, caffeine, contact sports, meat..." "Are you shitting me" "(John Spartan you are fined 1 credit for a violation of the verbal morality statue)" "What the hell is that?" "Bad language, child lit gasoline, uneducational toys and anything spicy, abortion is also illegal but so is pregnancy if you don't have a license." People like to draw parallels to the woke predictions of our current society but isn't Hollywood just shaping our perceptions with predictive programming. In 2030 you will own nothing and you will be happy. You'll eat much less meat. An occasional treat not a staple. Your permanent record on the internet where everything you do and say are recorded to hold you to the social standards of the future. If you can't be conditioned to comply, you will held accountable to the community for your behavior. If you will not obey you will be exiled from the system. Are not Terms of Service molding society at large with the ban hammer if you don't comply with the platforms rules and self-censorship where people are conforming to new social norms that are driven by Terms of Services.

  The timeline for the future is 2032. The screenplay was plagiarized from Hungarian sci-fi writer Istvan Nemere's story Holtak harca (Fight of the Dead). The novel is about a criminal and a police officer who are cryogenically frozen, only to wake up in a future where society has been purged of violent behavior. The main different between the mediums is in Fight of the Dead the cryogenic-prison is on the moon as opposed to the fictional city of San Angeles. The subtleties do not stop there each of the characters are ripped from Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.

  John Spartan/ John the Savage: The son born of parents from the brave new world but raised in the Savage Reservation, John represents a challenge to the dystopia. He is the character closest to being the hero of the novel.

Lenina Huxley/ Lenina Crowne: A technician, attracted by Bernard, in love with John. A conventional young woman who is drawn unconsciously toward danger, she represents ideal beauty for John.

Raymond Cocteau/ Mustapha Mond: The World Controller, intellectually and politically powerful. He offers a historical view of the brave new world at the beginning of the novel and later debates John and Helmholtz on society's values. Mond sentences Bernard and Helmholtz to be banished to the Falkland Islands and determines that John must stay in London.

  Huxley's Brave New World is roughly divided into three parts: The first part of the novel establishes the dystopia - the London of the future a world were all the present worrying trends have produced terrible consequences. Socialism is represented as the totalitarian World State, Religious beliefs and materialism transform into a world conformed to Religious consumerism and Henry Ford's assembly line of the Model T is distorted into human beings being mass-produced artificially. The second part juxtaposes an alternate world in - the Savage Reservation that exists outside of the conventions of the dystopia which is a culture shock to the London characters that travel there as tourists. The main protagonist is introduced, John naturally birthed in the Savage Reservation is the only world he has known. The third part unfolds with the disruption of John's views of London society's motto "Community, Identity, Stability." All the technology, planning and conditioning  of this World State exist solely to support and maintain these ends.

 Now the movie glosses over many of the novel's points but a few scenes are pertinent to the ideas inspired by Brave New World. Simon Phoenix is escaping from a Museum and he runs into Raymond Cocteau but it scared off by the pursuit of Spartan. Cocteau uses the opportunity to gauge John's views on his utopia by inviting him to the only existing restaurant in the future Taco Bell. "You weren't here when the real disturbances began civilization tried to destroy it's self. The city degenerated into a total fear zone, the citizenry cocooning in their homes afraid to go out, people just wanted the madness over. So when I saw the chance to make things right I seized it, if I had not the radiance of San Angeles would not be here, just your rotting cesspool of hate and suffering, which do you prefer?" Is this not the time we are currently living? Mainstream media fear mongering the next new thing to be afraid of: COVID 19 virus, the Omicron variant (anagram for Moronic), Monekypox, the Ukraine/Russian conflict to take the blame for inflation and food supply shortages by supply-chain disruption, disarming citizens for the coming Totalitarian state and crisis after crisis to keep you unhinged and in a panic state. 

  Ino you stoopid sonnva bytch it's just a movie, I'm tired of your fear mongering. If you don't like what I have to say that's on you, the appeal of writing articles is that it is fun for me. I try to do it in an entertaining way that some people might also have a good time reading my content. Hopefully you find value in my content but if not thank you for reading this far. There is an author who I fundamentally didn't like because his viewpoint was the opposite of mine, to me his articles were very curated under a PR filter and he never said anything negative to his audience. But the more I read his content the more he became my Soma pill (Soma is a drug in the BNW that keeps everyone calm, satisfied and happy with their life) I clicked on his articles first out of curiosity of what he'd say next but eventually I started to like reading his content because it made me feel better about Bitcoin and the never ending loop that each time I read his articles I felt better and uplifted. I'm subscribed to a few people who don't conform to my confirmation bias and this is specifically the reason I'm subscribed to them. I'm open to hear their points of views so I don't get stuck in my echo chambers. It is not a good thing to only accept praise and object to any form of criticism.

  I am the opposite of John Wege. I am the black pill you take when you want to hear how decentralization is just a buzz word in DeFi and how the Ethereum merge will lead to the centralization of network. You know how they say we are early adopters not just for blockchain technology but for the new totalitarian state that adopts the practice of kyc because it's not about preserving your wealth but just like Clown World today where everything stated has the opposite meaning and intention. That's cool if you believe this technology will revolutionize the world I'm not here to shit on your dreams but based on the history of the world and the stifling of innovation and the monopolies of industries for control.  I believe I have until roughly 2025 before the cashless society is adopted in my country. I don't have a fiat mentally as a matter of fact my views are more extreme than that. Money is not necessary for the cohesion of our society: we can and have existed without it. Also according to the Bitcoin Standard I don't believe I have the time to save for my future. What a shame it would be if I died in a concentration camp or starved to death waiting for price of Bitcoin to get to the point of life changing gains.

  There are no limits on having enough, you won't remember your highest profit trade on your deathbed. If it wasn't for the plandemic I'd still be wasting my life working one job trying to get as rich as possible only to have it slip through my fingers. My family matters, my community matters, my church matters and most of all I'm willing to let go in this turbulent time to enjoy the loss of control and consciously appreciate the people around me. I want to survive to become a Scrap - denizens that choose to live in the sewers apart from civilized society (fanatical libertarians).
