Another month, another Humble Bundle drop. Although these games contribute to my horrific backlog of shame, I do find that there are always interesting games that I will want to claim to play in the future (sometimes near, but more often far...).

These days, I've found that there are a decent subset of games that I would have been less interested in on the past, but now, I'm finding that they work really well as travel games on the Steam Deck! So, claiming more than ever... But oddly enough, completing more than before as well!

So, onwards to this month's drop!

Deep Rock Galactic is a pretty interesting multiplayer shooter. It is designed for up to 4 players, and in my experience, these sorts of games are much less fun when you are playing as a single player. So, given that I prefer to do my gaming alone... I think I will be passing this straight to my game store (when I get my arse in gear and post an updated version!).

Necromunda: Hired Gun is a good old fashioned looter-shooter set in the Warhammer 40k universe. I love the warhammer worlds, both the 40k and the fantasy versions, and I recently got into Necromunda via the Hive Wars adaptation. I have to say that I love the gritty underworld setting... Far from the grand scale clash of the Empire and xenos. I'm pretty intrigued by a looter-shooter in this setting, and I'm definitely keeping this one!

Hmmm... I'm up in the air with Legion TD2. I sort of enjoy tower defence games, but I do think that they have gotten quite stake as a genre. I'm not really convinced that this will be any different... Not a keeper for me! It maybe it will work on the Deck....

Legend of Keepers is a different story, a similar Dungeon Defence game with a roguelike element thrown in, I've actually had this on my Steam wish list for quite some time. This is the great thing about the Humble Bundle, most of the games that I add to my wish list end up being on the bundle eventually. The only trick is to resist buying the game when it goes on sale!

Lawn Mowing Simulator... Umm, no. Definitely, no.

Ah, it is a great month when I have a few wish-list items appear in the bundle! Banners of Ruin is another Rogue-like that is perfectly suited to the Steam Deck. This is another keeper for me!

Yes, Your Grace is a pretty interesting story/management game that I had been playing on the Switch before it was hijacked by my kids. This will give a chance to get back to playing it on the somewhat overpowered specs of the Deck!

Atom RPG is supposed to be an old school RPG in the spiritual style of Fallout. Older gamers seem to have taken to it... And I think that this game will be right up my alley. This will be a killer Deck game! Assuming any text isn't too small for my elderly eyes...

Deep Rock Galactic
Necromunda: Hired Gun
Legion TD2
Legend of Keepers
Lawn Mowing Simulator
Banners of Ruin
Yes, Your Grace
