As we talked about last time Freebitco.in is the longest running BTC faucet (1hr timer) still up and running. I really enjoy the simplicity of the thing. They’ve recently added a Wheel of Fortune and Premium membership program that gets you spins and a variety of other simple bonuses.
I dropped in 13500 FUN (just over $400 iirc) and am waiting the initial 30 days holding period. I’ve been using this site as a faucet and simple betting platform for so long checking it as few times a day is second nature.
Right now I have one free spin a day through their email program and can’t wait to be getting 5 more a day. Just today I got nearly 400 Satoshi between a roll and faucet hit. Not bad for two clicks!
I have a bet resolving at the end of the month I made on the first day the market opened. When betting on [FreeBitco.in](https://freebitco.in/?r=41359237) timing is everything as betting early gets you an ENORMIOUS payment multiplier. For example, the market for BTC monthly closing price is open for 3 weeks, you can always place your bet at the very last moment to have all that additional information. I prefer to do just the opposite and hedge my bet wide enough that I feel confident. This week I covered a $10,000k spread on BTC monthly closing price, half what I bet last time. Wish me luck!
Splinterlands is fantastic. The more time I spend with the game the more fun I have. Since the last update I’ve bought two smaller collections mostly focusing on goldfoil staples and some higher priced cards that I fear soon will be out of my price range.
I’ve also fallen headfirst into the Splinterland tournament scene. At this point nearly every tournament not deeply below your League level will pays more than the price of entry even if you get last place. That’s just free DEC and that’s extremely powerful.
I worry a bit that most of these tournaments are hosed by the Splinterlands and that just giving away DEC like this is going to get expensive. Maybe that’s vastly underestimating the amount of money games like this pull in.
I’m going to start tracking some metrics like my overall DEC gain overtime to give everyone some hard numbers. Look forward for that to be included in the third installment of The Drip!
Button. I press the button. I stake the Trilium. Sometimes I even check to see what NFTs I’ve found. I look forward to there being a game here. Not much else to say.
Ditto. I got my second level 5 character this week. Beyond that it’s just pizza pizza pizza.
Same. I’ll star trying to take down some of the quests here soon. I’ve been able to open up the Local Gig Circuit but so far not been able to try any of those missions. Slowly but surely.
Rollercoin is the game I’m currently the most bullish on. It’s a really simple mining simulation that, once set up, is powered by you played a few games over the course of your days. The really great thing about this one is that it seems to be the best “set it and forget it” type game I’ve found. As long as you show up and play a few games a day to maintain your power supply. It’s a lot like Freebitco.in that harvests itself. Plus, it has a Play Store app which is a massive step in any project like this finding it’s legs and success.
I’ve gotten a few friends with whom I’ve formed something like a gaming team devoted to cryptogames mostly focusing on those relating to NFTs. We’ve all signed up for this one to some degree and gotten started now while everything is 20% off. I only wish there was more to do.
Upland seems like a very interesting game. It’s one of the very popular games in the field of crypto powered real-estate simulation games. I have a handful of properties in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. There seems to be a whole level of the game around the “block explorers” playing location of some kind of jackpot icons? I cant say more beyond that because I’m not confident in my understanding here. I just log in ever 12 hours to pull in my income and refuse all the offers to buy my properties.
Again, tracking the math here will be helpful.
Dr. Who Worlds Apart is an upcoming trading card based on the massively popular Dr. Who franchise with the support and funding of the BBC. There is plenty of information on the website related to the rules of the game and the overall roadmap leading to their release planned for Q4 of 2021 for any of you interested in finding out specifics. At this point you can make an account and log in each day to earn 10 Pendaks, the in-game currency.
Due to the premium IP and BBC support this project has my full attention in a way that no other project like that that has no plan to release until Q4 of this year. I’ve started to log in each day to collect these. I look forward to this game having more ways to interact with it! I’m a huge sci-fi fan and, while I personally grew up on The X-Files, I cant wait to play Dr. Who World Apart!

Cool DOGE Pays is a scam. This has convinced me to rotate faucets away from this projects in the future. Oh well!
In years past when in conversation with people about why I thought NFTs could change gaming I would often use the example “Imagine a world where the software-as-a-service model has taken hold and a new versions of Diablo comes out ever 3 years. Now imagine when you found especially powerful treasure and want to be able to use it in every game going forward, store it away from the game, never have it deleted, or even pass it down to your kids. NFTs make that kind of thing possible and it’s just a matter of time until someone pulls it off.”
Lost Relics is that except, I’m sad to say, the wrinkles have not yet been ironed out. Remember that gaming team or crew I mentioned earlier? Well we have all been very excited to play in an upcoming Easter Event that was set to come out a few days ago. The release of this event crashed the game and it’s been down since then. Bummer.
That said, this is the path any game walks to becoming an awesome product. This project is all about finding those games early, I’m not going to fault the games for being early. That just comes with the territory. Lost Realms is made by one man which is incredible. This week it’s striking out but I had planned a much larger write-up about this project and how excited I am about it.
I’m no less confident in this games future than I was last week. I just look forward to having better news to tell you.
Well, ditto again. eXode reminds me a lot of Neon District in that it seems like an amazing project that might be a bit farther along than they are admitting. I've tried the proof of concepts they have released for the two game modes and honestly, Im all in. The idea of a cryptogame where rounds are closer to 30 minutes sounds amazing to me

Gods Unchained has been around forever. I remember like 5 years ago when they sold millions of dollars with of packs when back then they did some sort of IPO. It's always looked to me like Gods was a victim of it's own success in a way but I really have no idea what I'm talking about. I downloaded the game and have found it really polished. They give you starter cards which, IMHO, is the way forward for games like this.
I'd love to put more time in here but my gaming hours are a bit limited rn planning a major move.
