About Drizzle, Truffle, React, Ganache, ETH, GAS and the Ethereum Blockchain in General
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to get started with developing dApps. It is definetly helpful to have a minimal JS background but is not required everything you see can be learned on the fly. First you will need a compass to the decentralized world.
The Internet as we know works on servers that store data and clients that subscribe to data or publish data on the server. Web3 or the Decentralized Web is based on something called the Blockchain. The Blockchain is a network of distributed ledgers that form a distributed database or vitual computer. Ethereum is a Blockchain one of these Distributed Virtual Super Computers so to say. ETH is a digital value transfer mechanism based on the Ethereum Network and GAS is the ETH used to fuel the Ethereum Network usually in Form of transaction fees.
In order to develop dApps we need to use the right tools ...
It's not impossible to create dApps without Frameworks ... but Vanilla JS and Python alone will require way more skills, effort and background than the techniques I am about to present to you.
I will teach you to setup a simple dApp from scratch in no time.
You need to visit following Links and download ...
https://nodejs.org/en/ - NodeJS
https://www.npmjs.com/get-npm - Node Package Manager
https://www.trufflesuite.com/ganache - Ganache (Developement Blockchain)
https://metamask.io/ - Metamask Web3 Browser Extension
https://code.visualstudio.com/ - VSCode (Code Editor)
https://gitforwindows.org/ - GITBASH (for windows users only)
Installing these tools is fairly easy but it is recommended to look at the installation guide anyway. For windows users i recommend to select the gitbash shell as default for VSCode inside the Terminal Window.

You should also consider installing a few extensions for example language based code highlighters.

If you take a look at Ganache you will see how easy it is to create a Blockchain with just one click or create a custom Blockchain in no time.

Setup a Metamask Wallet or import one with a private key. Now you can connect your own Ethereum Local Testnet you created with Ganache to your Metamask by hitting the foldout menu between the fox logo and your account image and selecting custom rpc.

There you go you are ready to get started ...
