Hi everyone, I'm Salem! Something I thoroughly enjoy doing is journaling, I write all day and night. I used to write digitally on Penzu, but went back to the old fashioned pen and paper as I found the classic way of writing was my all time favorite way of getting my thoughts immediately down onto the paper.
I do miss having an online platform where I can look back. A place for me to digitally document my day to day life. Rather boring sometimes as I am one for my regular routines being an autistic individual. But there are usually things that switch things up and light the days on fire.
I'd like Publish0x to be where I write down my day to day life, one because I'm a crypto Enby (Non Binary person) and having a way to earn a little extra crypto is always beneficial in securing one's financial future. Also though, there's a comment section. Unlike where I used to write, Penzu, where it was a private journal. Publish0x is public. There's a comment section. I will have the ability to build a community and a regular audience. Which for me is something that sounds exciting. Also a little nerve racking to be honest lol. But what's life without a little anxiety.
I'd love to be able to share every day my life, my journey. In crypto and in general this crazy world. I'm a very open an honest person. Things you can expect are discussions on topics that bring me interest. Not always about crypto. If you're into a broad range of subjects I might just be someone you'd want to follow and check back on. As I should say my day's start late. Like late, late. I work graveyard. So usually I wake up at around 7PM but as I currently have a virus (not covid-19 I tested negative) I slept until 11PM on 12/10/2022. Talk about getting a late start to the day. But hey, at least I knew I was well rested.
As an autistic person I keep to my morning routine as it helps me start off my day brighter. It keeps my day a bit more organized allowing me to better handle anything that's thrown at me. Also ADHD, so had to take those meds lol otherwise brain doesn't function properly.
My cat was not happy when I woke up, she wanted food, she was like "Hey! FOOD!!! You're hours late here!" She's an orange tabby, a senior, 18 years old and completely blind. But as a typical orange tabby she's a food nut! So me being late on her breakfast made her give me all the sass in the world.
I always wake up feed the cat, take my medicine and must consume caffeine!!! Lately I've been drinking more coffee rather than my energy drinks. Though this new syrup I bought tastes like butt and it made my morning coffee taste disgusting and it was absolutely miserable to drink. Yuck!
Texted my long distance boyfriend good morning and got logged into my laptop to start doing my Cointiply. A side hustle I enjoy doing to earn extra bitcoin. I have two personal accounts and then I help my boyfriend with his because he's a lazy boy brain lol. But it keeps me busy and as a chronically ill person who works a chill job at a homeless shelter and is currently off work for a wee bit, I have nothing better to do. So why not.
I'm a huge music lover so nothing starts the day off better than hitting that shuffle button on my spotify playlist. As the music began to play I began working on a side job I do with Amazon Mechanical Turk. If you haven't heard of it I highly recommend looking into it. It has the ability to be a full time job if you're someone with a lot of skill and a whole lot of time. But even if you're someone just looking for a way to boost your income like I do it can be a nice way to do so. It's super easy for the most part. I spent a few hours doing what tasks were available to me that I felt like doing. Earned a nice bit of money for that savings account. Felt good about myself.
My friend from work whose also on the graveyard shift with me who was at work at the time began texting me, they told me they were feeling sleepy. So we talked for a while, texting back and forth and sending each other posts on tumblr. They got me into Tumblr which by the way it's entirely under rated! It helped keep them awake. That's what friends are for.
Made some food since I hadn't eaten all day. Which isn't like me. But when I'm sick I find I don't really have much of an appetite. I'm a super picky eater. So noodles it was!
My boyfriend woke up. His butt slept in, what a pain in my booty. We got to talking for quite some time until I saw the time it was almost seven in the morning. I knew the market downtown was about to open and so was the coffee shop that I go to. It opens later on the weekends than on the week days. Which is fine for normal people. When you work graveyard it's kind of irritating lol.
Went and walked downtown, said hi to the lady at the market she's so sweet. She asked me for my name and phone number. She's thinking about hiring some part time help when business picks back up. I have experience working in a gas station so it's very similar. It would be nice to work there part time and make a little extra money so I said why not and wrote it down for her.
Next stop the coffee shop! Took a walk down the street where I saw the town famous Roy! He's always out walking around downtown in the early hours of the morning. Everyone knows him! He's a sweet man, in his 80's, I've known him for quite some time now. I got to talking to him again while we waited for the lady to get the shop opened up. I bought him his coffee for him that morning like my Mom and I used to do for him every day back when I used to work for the local gas station and he used to come in every morning at 5:30 AM. He'd beat me there and I was always 15 to 20 minutes early. Very sweet man, I always enjoy seeing him.
I just ordered my favorite strawberry smoothie with whipped cream. Since it was getting later for me in my day didn't want a double espresso at that hour. Though knowing me I'd still sleep haha. But this coffee shop has my favorite smoothies, I've become fully addicted!!! The lady who works there in the morning knows exactly what I get and as soon as I walk up she tells me my order before I even say it lol.
Walked back home talked more to my boyfriend, told him all about Roy and the old stories I had with him. Spent some time with my kitty and my two pugs before I headed to bed.
Then I woke up after only sleeping for about four hours. I suffer from insomnia so it happens. Had some chicken when I woke up I was so hungry at that point! Went back downtown to look at the Christmas lights at night. It was so beautiful! Came home to watch some football with my father. Yes I'm 23 and live with my family, in this economy do you expect anything else haha.
Started my normal morning routine and now I get to add writing my previous day down in my Publish0x blog posts into my daily routine. I know I write a lot. I hope you don't mind. Some days may have more, some days may have less. It all depends on what goes on. The details may fluctuate. It all depends. I'm a weirdo. Right now I'm running on a few hours of sleep and I'm tired. But I never stop myself from a passion inspiration.
