...and meanwhile we Europeans continue to play the game of "being good people" with the whole world, closing nuclear power plants, opening thermal plants and vetoing Russian gas. Wow, basically absorbing all the crap from the western world without having a fucking idea what to do about the immediate future since, although we call ourselves "European Union", each country does what comes out of its eggs, especially France to which I predict a good future for it as the first European electricity generator by betting 100% on nuclear power.
Countries like Spain or Italy are going to have no choice but to increase the purchase of electricity from their French neighbors, since not even the LPG coming from the USA is going to have a competitive price to continue using in our thermal power plants... a round deal for our friends, Americans and French, undoubtedly.
The Spaniards, meanwhile, having more sunny land than anyone else in Europe, continue to waste thousands of totally barren square kilometers that could well be used for solar energy.
According to the Spanish government yesterday, "we are going to bet heavily on renewables"... the problem is that the solution will come too late for many, if it comes at all, because I am sure that if there is a change of government in the near future, the plan It will be totally forgotten... besides, a plan is useless if the only thing a country has is debt...

The closure of the 5 nuclear power plants that still work in Spain already has an established date. Before 2035 they should be closed...
