My favorite small cap project: DungeonSwap

Like many of you, I spend a decent amount of time trolling through CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko somewhat regularly looking for new small projects I can get into early on. I've found a few that I've invested in, but my current favorite is DungeonSwap, and not only because the price has been surging in the past week (currently at around $8, it was sitting at or below $0.20 not too long ago).

DungeonSwap is a lot of my favorite things wrapped into one project: DeFi swapping, staking and yield farming (with amazing rates), and NFT gaming. And on top of that, its a table-top RPG style game with the story written by a professional player of a "well-known dungeon-themed tabletop RPG game" (I think we all know which one that is).

First, the staking and yield farming. As would be expected, all returns are paid out in $DND, their token. There are three options to stake: DND, WBNB, and BUSD. All have great returns, with 0 risk of impermanent loss as you can see here (screenshot from 7/27):

Then there is also yield farming. Better returns, but risk of impermanent loss so greater risk:

Now all of this is great, but for a project to really hold value there needs to be utility to the token. That's where the RPG comes into play. The developers are currently hard at work putting together a table-top style RPG game. Players pay a small fee in $DND to enter the dungeon, where they can fight monsters and find loot in the form of NFTs. There are also rewards paid in $DND for playing, and you can leave the dungeon without finishing it and still claim your reward. Interestingly, there is also a burn mechanism in place that will reduce the overall supply of $DND over time from its maximum of 10,000,000.

With some very cool monsters. And check out those potential rewards

As the image above shows, there are some pretty cool-looking monsters and special gear available. This is looking like it'll be a pretty rich gaming experience, not just a card collecting game like a lot of the other NFT gaming projects I've seen. And with potentially rich rewards too!

To me this is a really unique project that also really hits on an interest (fantasy RPGs) that I've had for decades. It's hard not to get into something like this. But as always, do your due diligence and research before jumping in. Feel free to start by checking out their site and whitepaper here: https://dungeonswap.app/
