I have been curating the news about Bitcoin and other Crypto assets since 2017 and I prob will never stop. That said, over the years I've put this brief into so many different formats, working to help others read what I read, watch what I watch, and listen to what I listen to; sometimes I don't get to fully digest it all.
That said, I'd be curious to hear from some of you on yet another format idea. With this bear market the content around the top 10 digital assets continue to grow thin, for a couple reasons. Over the years I've learned (and with the encouragement of some of you) that not all "news" is good news. In determining what I put in, I have to consider first the source - then the author - then the actual content is it relevant or factual. If you've been reading my briefs long enough you know that I curate mostly what is coming from the Crypto publications like Cointelegraph, CoinDesk, Finbold, etc. As a result, I hyperlink the sources in "The Weeds" section on the brief but I wonder how many of you actually click through or is that just a waste of time for me to put them there?
If even one of you use it I will continue but if no one really needs it, I may consider removing that section and using that time to beef up my own Hot Take on what I read.
In addition, I focus on news related to the price of the top 10 Crypto assets, developments, opinions, legal cases, legislation/regulation/taxation, and attacks/hacks/scams. My purpose is to show you all what is trending in the news so you are able to get a clean cut in a quick fashion. I keep updating the brief throughout the day until around 5PM CST.
I'm finding that the YouTubers seems to be focused on getting clicks and the content just isn't vibing like it used to. I work to find relevant ones but of the typical ones I curate they all seem to be going for sensationalist material like Altcoin Daily, Coin Bureau, Bitcoin University, etc. However, if this content resonate with you I will continue to add it but want to find something that truly educates you. I wished Andreas was still producing content but he's gone somewhat silent. In times where there are not good videos I will incorporate more personal development type videos because I enjoy helping others because the best version of themselves.
At the end of the day I will continue to put together what is presented to me in the best format possible. I always enjoy the comments you all provide and hopefully the news cycle gets better. I realize some of you might be heavy in the Web3 space but I just can't seem to truly get excited about it and it's incredibly broad so curating that would be a beast of a job.
