Welcome to Thursday Folks! Bitcoin is trading up from yesterday at $66,848 but down $6K from the previous week. Will the push higher continue? It will need to get back above $70K and remain above it for a few days in order to take another shot at the all-time high.

Today, in the early morning not much actual news is out - most articles by the crypto publications are talking about the price action from yesterday. J-Pow decided to leave rates unchanged and that apparently sparked a rally which has since cooled off this morning. As you know yesterday the Ethereum Foundation is getting investigated but the price of $ETH continues higher as a reaction from yesterday as well. Coinbase announced plans to launch cash-settled futures for $DOGE, $LTC, and $BCH (no $XRP) as early as 1 Apr 2024; shocking but goes to show this is an ever evolving industry.(2) Cardano added over 2,000 wallets per day in 2024.

Willy Woo says the bottom is in - will he be proven correct? Peter Brandt says he doesn't see a Bitcoin correction. Glassnode says Bitcoin is entering a volatile corrective period. Brian Armstrong is getting a lot of press for defending the $ETH ETF so let's see where this goes.(4)

A month ago, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson was battling with Arthur Hayes about his demeaning comments about Cardano(3) and Coinbase was fighting for the $ETH ETF saying it's not a security.(3) A few weeks ago, Bitcoin remained around $64K as the market reached extreme greed(3) and Gemini made their customers whole by returning 100% of the funds to those who participated in the Earn program.(7) A couple weeks ago, Bitcoin had a "V-shaped" recovery which opened a path toward $76K. Last week, Arizona lawmakers cited rapid growth of the Spot Bitcoin ETFs as a reason to add them to retirement portfolios(3) and Bitcoin hit yet another high, tapping $73.8K and beware of Bitcoin's 'rising wedge,' says Josh Olszewicz which tends to be bearish but if a pull back does happen it will prob be short lived. Yesterday, BlackRock launched a digital fund with $100 million on Ethereum, hinting at Real-World Assets (RWA) focus.(3)
