It's Saturday Folks! What a week it's been for Bitcoin and the broader market. The best performing asset in the past 7 days is $MATIC believe it or not - up 23% it's been on a tear; ranked #9 on Coinmarketcap.com. Even with all the bullishness we are seeing in the market many are still warning of a significant dump so be vigilant out there. Let's review the week shall we?

Monday the price of Bitcoin closed at $21,808.10 and the fear and greed index was 48. The most covered news of the day was
Paxos terminated partnership with Binance, stops minting $BUSD.(5) and Bank Of Brazil allowing citizens to pay taxes with Crypto.(5)
Podcast of the Day: Tuur Demeester: The Bitcoin Reformation | The Bitcoin Matrix

Tuesday the price of Bitcoin closed at $22,220.80 and the fear and greed index was 50. The most covered news of the day was $BNB token plunges as Binance, Paxos shutter $BUSD Stablecoin product.(4), UK FCA to take action against unregistered, illegal cryptocurrency ATM.(4), and Sam Bankman-Fried’s use of a VPN on Super Bowl Sunday ‘raised concerns,’ say prosecutors.(4)

By Wednesday (Humpday) the price of Bitcoin closed at $24,307.84 and the fear and greed index was 53. The most covered news of the day was Judge unsealing the names of Sam Bankman-Fried’s bail guarantors; Larry Kramer and Andrea Paepcke.(5)
Podcast of the Day: BTC117: Bitcoin and the Start of the Information Era w/ Luke Broyles | Bitcoin Fundamentals

Right over the hump on Thursday the price of Bitcoin closed at $24,686.22 and the fear and greed index was 62. The most covered news of the day was Bitcoin price surges to $25K and 6-month high, dips turn attractive in medium-term; bull trap awaits?(9)
Podcast of the Day: Why Investors Believe In Ethereum | James Butterfill, Coinshares | The Wolf of All Streets

As the week came to a close on Friday the price of Bitcoin closed at $23,710.59 and the fear and greed index right about 61. The most covered news of the day was SEC sueing Terraform Labs, Do Kwon for misleading investors on TerraUSD Stablecoin.(10)
Podcast of the Day: Is Gary Gensler on a Mission to Put Crypto Down for Good? | Unchained

Bottom line: As I type Bitcoin is trading at $24,588.47 and for the week (M-F) Bitcoin gained $1,902.49. So quite the turn around from last week so week over week Bitcoin continues it's upward trajectory and indicates this was not a bull trap as many had believed but could be the start of the next bull cycle as Pantera Capital stated last year. That said, I continue to be cautiously optimistic in that we need to get above $25.2K (200 WMA) and close above that for 3 consecutive weeks before I go raging bull :)

Well that is a wrap folks, if you'd like to be in the know throughout the day, join me on Wubits where I am constantly sharing my thoughts about the Crypto market and personal development type topics.
