From the very first time that NFTs (crypto art) were born, some contest started to pop up to let these new kitties,punks,pixel weapons

and other goodies too spread and to increase the awareness of the people about the new form of art that comes from blockchains

There was a time that reddit and twitter were the main means where to find opportunities to grab a valuable (hopefully) piece of art

for free.

Now the phenomenon is less common but some good contests still exist.

The one hold by CryptoTitties made me curious for the original (and beautiful) prize, spoiler: the motorboat i mentioned earlier.

Soft-story time

But first let's see what crypto titties are.

Actually they are just NFTs ( ERC721) with a good value sometimes, that are collectible and of course tradable, usless to say that the

stored, unique art pieces resemble the shapes of you know.. titties but they are a toon representation only so almost an innocent

thing afterall.

The first speciments of this particular themed art, apeared in 2018 (January) on the Ethereum blockchain and are part of the first

limited collection of 144 precious pieces.

Catch the wave (who can)

Since there are some pieces remaining, which prices range from 0.5 ETH to 14 ETH  who wants can buy one at their marketplace

The idea of the contest is really simple. Buy one of the NFTs of the collection, share it on the network, on socials and collect votes

The users that vote to support your piece of art, must pay 0.003 ETH (more than 3$ nowadays) in order to vote.

Votes are multiplied by a number that is unique for every cryptotitty and is higher for the more expensive piece is.

At the end, the one which number of votes gained multiplied by the value on his cryptotitty make the higher score, wins!

The good news are that 70% of the money rised by voting goes to a Breast Cancer Foundation that provide THC/CBD based drugs

that are effective in relief the symptoms related to breast cancer and the side effects of therapies that we all know they have

to face.

When all of the  144 pieces are sold, then a contract  containing the titles to obtain the motorboat and receive it will be unlocked.
