Well, I just finished watching a brief video on BitChute uploaded by 'HighImpactFlix' in which the host goes over Paypal's disastrous new terms of service from a couple of weeks ago in which Paypal threatened users with a $2,500 fine for spreading misinformation. Each separate violation, according to Paypal, would give the company the right to enter your linked bank account and help themselves to $2,500. If they'd deemed you had three violations, as an example, Paypal would help themselves to $7,500 of your money.
We know that Paypal had since come out and stated the user agreement clause was added accidentally. As I stated in a previous article (link below), this in itself was and is disinformation, an outright lie because this 'terms of service' agreement wording goes through the top executive branch, legal and PR teams before being published, so they knew exactly what they were doing.
The backlash was instantaneous and people, including myself, closed their accounts in earnest once the news got out while their stock tumbled some $20 a share. You would think they'd have learned a valuable lesson from all this but apparently, they haven't.
According to the information I got from the video this morning, Paypal is at it again. As soon as the media coverage died down, they RE-INSTATED the $2,500 clause and made it even harder for you to close your Paypal account, having to go through layers of smoke and mirrors to find your way out of THEIR mess!
Paypal and other Silicon Valley tech giants have decided that they are the arbiters of truth and if you tweet something or publish something on your blog, just as I'm doing right now that they don't like or disagree with, they'll come out in full force to punish you.
I guess these corporations think we need them for some reason. The truth is, and this is not misinformation, we don't need them. We don't need them at all and would be so much better off without them. It's time to show them you're the king of your castle, not Paypal (or Facebook / Google / Microsoft...).
Another thing, go ahead and say what you want. Excercise free speech whenever you want, wherever you want. If someone doesn't agree with you, too bad! That's what debates are for. Drop Paypal as soon as possible and share this information with everyone. We've been cancelled often in the last 2.5 years. Now, it's their turn to know what it feels like to be cancelled.
