I downloaded the 60 day chart for silver from Kitco and it sure looks to me like silver's headed higher. The upward trajectory, if it holds, strongly suggests we'll see $27 in a matter of weeks. With the post I put out yesterday about a triple conjunction of M2 money supply contraction, continued rate hike lag effect and debt ceiling issues in the U.S.A. all hitting at once, I'm guessing this trajectory will continue to rise past $27. Are we to see $30 silver soon in May? Here's what the chart looks like...

We hit bottom on March 10. Silver had an expected correction last week. Although the red line doesn't show it, silver did cross into $26 territory, albeit briefly. There was another little correction yesterday. Silver is at $25.18 at time of writing. This is normal behavior for highly volatile silver.

Below is the 5 year chart for silver. We can see that pre-pandemic, silver was stuck in the $15 range.  Now, silver clearly shows a new foothold of $25. Even after the severe correction in spring / summer 2022, silver tried hard to regain ground, eventually surpassing $24.60 (This is where FTX blew up) until the sudden correction we saw this spring. Fortunately, the pullback was brief and this time, silver was able to hit $26 just last week and is so far holding the $25 handle.

From what I can see, silver has returned to its foothold of $25. The sharp rise of the last few weeks doesn't compare to anything since October, 2020. 

Here's the 30 day chart and the reaction to the crashing banks...

Silver has gained $3 in 30 days. As we get closer and closer to the supposed June 5 deadline when the U.S. Treasury runs out of cash without any resolve from Congress regarding the debt ceiling, I can't help but expect a rush to reliable safe havens and that includes precious metals. With silver being so undervalued, it's likely to be snatched up quickly. Big dealers are reporting shortages and wait times as well as big ticket lump sum purchases.

While there's no guarantee where silver is headed, events are converging that could very well propel silver to unimaginable new highs. The biggest event being the U.S. dollar losing its status as world reserve currency.

There have been six major world currencies starting with:

Portugal 1450 - 1530

Spain 1530 - 1640

Netherlands 1640 - 1720

France 1720 - 1815

Great Britain 1815 - 1920

United States of America 1920 to present.

On average, these have lasted between 80 to 100 years each. Which country's next? Will there even be another world reserve currency? With the U.S.A. being $31.4 trillion in debt, I don't see how the dollar can hold its position much longer. Consider investing in silver. See my Ebay and OwnX links below, thanks.
