How Telos was said to be an Aligned Community?
The Telos Community from a single community member of particular dapp to a token-holder up to the Telos Foundation Core Team Members and Core Developers share a common vision and goal for the blockchain.
We are all working collaboratively to accomplish each goals while each accountable members provide transparency to all transactions visible for the community.
Alignment has something to do with adjusting something so the focus on the movement is in the set goals.
The main goal of the marketing department is not actually wanting people to buy the product that we sell but to share awareness on how this will bring a lot of benefits and create an great impact from what they have been used to do.
As a blockchain, we don't need to sell. We need people to experience:
- How fast Telos is
- How extremely low fees it has
- How easy and affordable it is to mint their NFT's
- Get bewildered with other astounding decentralized apps we have
How important it is to have an aligned community?
Unity. Something hard to achieve if there are lots of conflicts from each members. I have been in this community for almost a year and whenever someone shares ideas, it is welcomed by tons of community members and even being acknowledged by our super down-to-earth Telos Foundation Core Team. They are even so vocal about how impressed they are about this idea that could benefit a lot of people even outside the community.
How do Telos community handles diversity, mis-aligned views and avoid the possibility of conflicts in the future?
First, we value and recognize diversity but it should always be with a purpose. We essentially analyze if this particular diverse point of view actually helps or just "FUDDING" the beloved community members.
We intensify and promote each ones' strengths. We look into each sub-communities for whatever activities they share and joins them. We eventually highlight them to the main channel. We provide collaborative approaches to such powerful and effective campaigns by other dapps then share it to our social media handles.
In my case, I have assigned each Telos Eagles to dig into each dapps for them to wander around and inform me how we could further help them achieve their goals.
We commend bright ideas. I am actively developing this metric system for the Telos Eagles and the Telos SEALS to reward these ideas. We even try to assess these inputs or suggestions if we can actually bring these things up for our future activities.
We HIGHLY ACKNOWLEDGE the members who have shown loyalty, tremendous activity and even developed friendship amongst each one of us.
