Whole call

Brenda: Well good morning everybody today is October 18th and this is the dev call and basically this week we've continued to test 360. Tellor 360. Which we are still planning to have up for, up and running by early November. Everything looks good polygon is already on production with 360. Mumbai it's already testing on 360. we have redeployed a full testing environment to Goerli since Rinkeby is going to be or it hasn't been deprecated. So we can't really use that we'll be doing the update anyway we'll do we'll be writing some scripts just to make sure that we do one final test that when we do the update everything works as we expected since that's our real production environment currently our environment testing environment for our production environment. But moving forward we'll be in Goerli all of the addresses will be updated on our website so make sure that if you're using our old addresses to test the new update. I know study you're already reporting to our new Goerli in Mumbai addresses. So if you guys need data for testing make sure to use the new ones. We also we were at Defcon last week Mike myself and Tim Tim should be flying in today to back into the states. We had a really great time we made a lot of connections it was it was actually a pretty I think it was I've been to three devcons and I think this is this has been like the most fun and also like there was a lot of people and one of the things that I really liked was that they did the networking events at after the conference meetings in the same venue so you would end the conference and then in the first floor they had you know they had games they had just like everything for you to network for the afternoon so it was really great because then you were already there if you had talked to other people during the day you can just follow up afterwards and we hope you know we're we'll be following up with a lot of the people that we make contact with and that's basically it on my end I know so celebrities already being tested and we should be up and running for mainnet by early November polygon is up and running Mumbai is up and running on 360 and tell you it has already made a release and we're also testing but Owen if you want to give me an update on that what's going on.

Owen: So Akrem did a release of Telliot core and then Telliot feeds still being worked on me but that should be probably soon I'm guessing okay.

Akrem: Yeah tell you feeds has a bunch of tests there are failing so I'm trying to fix them before I do a release yeah that's really my priority right now so I can and I haven't announced that because I wanted to do both together so we can announce Telliot at once okay so there.

Brenda: So to Telliot is not fully ready then.

Akrem: Telliot core is real I did the release on Telliot core tell your feet has a bunch of tests that are yelling fixing those tests and then we'll do a release but the code is it's just the tests all together.

Brenda: Spuddy.

Spuddy: I've been testing the latest you know the like the latest main branch of tell you and if you want to try to run Telliot it now that's working almost perfectly as far as I can tell reporting on the new 360 networks you're actually able to report on any well I don't know if it matters for anybody else but you can actually switch between old Tellor Flex contracts and Tellor 360 contracts and it's pretty slick I think it's been going really smooth when we started reporting to go early 360 . I didn't have any problems once I remembered to add 18 zeros to stuff so it's all good.

Brenda: Awesome and Spuddy I got a notification about our API that we have maxed out.

Spuddy: Yeah and I wonder if I wonder if it's the disputable values monitor oh and do you know if the disputable values monitor would ping those apis when somebody submits for legacy id10.

Owen: It's it will run it as well like the sources that we have built for it.

Spuddy: so yeah there's something about the disputable values monitor now that's using a lot of node calls I don't know if it's hitting apis a lot more too I'm not really sure. But anyway we might just maybe we need to upgrade the membership or something way like an option to like check every however oh yeah yes yeah I got to install that today I forgot about that.

Owen: Yeah you can you can just switch to the branch and try it out or wait till taly's done like reviewing it and merging it.

Spuddy: I probably want to go I probably want to go ahead and switch the branch because it's given us problems with inferior too this is for this is because it's on Mumbai we're you know we run like some of our own local nodes but for Mumbai we use inferior still and it's doing a lot of calls.

Brenda: Yeah well that that is used for the ample value correct so I'll have to upgrade it for this month I guess but we should definitely fix it because it should really be getting that every I mean this is the first time we've ever run out of or we've maxed it out so something changed okay and then.

Spuddy: Yeah but we're all we're all the time running like with all the different contracts and all the different networks were just all the time running more Telliots so it could be because of that just in general.

Ryan: Good I'm actually working on a pull request with Cero right now to just update the addresses for the fund a feed but there's also a new like field counter that we can you can increment and increase the reward until someone reports on it so we're just working on that one should be done today and then updated the docs with the new addresses for polygon main net in Mumbai and then later going to be working today going to be working on a video with Spuddy regarding disputing how to dispute.

Brenda: Nice thank you guys also one last thing using Tellor has a new release so for 360 you we pushed it out last night tinted so it's out there if anybody needs help like they should be using the new one since that would have the 360 stuff. I think that's it for our Tech update is there were there any questions for me yes a couple questions Ryan?

Ryan: One is do you think at some point print more trbs or would something inflate the price.

Brenda: Well, I hope then you know further integrate integrations and you know will help the price in the long term in terms of printing trb. Trb will change a little bit the way that it's distributed with the Tellor 360. Now it's going to be basically I think 4 000 tokens go to time-based rewards and then four thousand tokens go to the dev share. So that's basically it forever. Yeah I after that it'll have to be a fork to be able to change that so that's sorry and.

Spuddy: And the four thousand and four thousand that's the same as it is now the only chain that's changing with Tellor 360 is how it's how it gets paid out with the contracts but the amount like the rate of in like quote-on-quote inflation is not changing it's it is what it is now same as forever it's really really small.

Brenda: Thanks for clarifying that Spuddy yeah so the actual radio installation does not change is the same it's just how yeah how it gets unlocked I guess well not a lot this actually meant it so cool.

Ryan: Is there any prediction of some deflationary mechanism in the trb.

Brenda: I have no predictions sorry and Nick is not here he's the one that usually challenges me on that song but.

Ryan: As far as like in 360 there's nothing there's no functions going on that's going to burn yeah I'm.

Brenda: No I think it stays the same we we're just part of the tip of the tip and that's it so there's no changes to the current way that we print or burn trb cool another there's one change to the way who.

Spuddy: There's one change to trb like quote-on-quote tokenomics which is that there's a small fee taken out of every tip reward every well every tip but also the time there's time-based rewards coming from the contract also and like two percent of earnings that would go to every each reporter gets distributed among all reporters so if you're staked as reporters you can periodically call a function to get a small reward that's that everybody shares a little bit of that thought.

Brenda: Yeah basically if you're State you will get two percent of Rewards would Tellor ever go on the acquisition path and build out resources and Integrations opportunities via mergers and Acquisitions.

Owen: Yeah we're acquiring chain link next week you know.

Brenda: No we're not next stop but will be after 360 we think that the system is going to be so stable and you know that we're actually going to be able to work on some products that we'll use Tellor. So at this point honestly acquisitions are probably not going to be part of our strategy we just not we didn't do an IO or an Ico so we do not have the type of capital but we'll be building up some really cool apps after 360 and just using Tellor with those and showing people what is Tellor is capable of and then hopefully you know maybe I mean but who knows in the future maybe it'll happen but as of now that's the plan.

Ryan: Cool that's it that's it.
Brenda: Well thank you guys for listening and thank you guys for everything you did I mean we you know you guys stayed behind working and finishing up all the 360 stuff we were over there sounds like a lot of fun but a lot of work. I'm still so tired from this trip but anyway. We'll be in San Francisco for East San Francisco so if anybody's going to be over there, please join us we'll be there I think November 14th yeah so join us we'll have booth come meet the team. Thank you guys.
