Bitcoin Crossing USD110k Plus; Does it really matter?

By Debesh Choudhury | TechFuture | 3 Oct 2025

Bitcoin rising beyond USD110k pleases the cryptocurrency adopters.

The cryptocurrency news headline shows the rising price of Bitcoin.

  • Cryptocurrency adopters and enthusiasts are so happy.
  • The altcoins, such as the hard fork of Bitcoin, known as Bitcoin Cash, are also seeing a boost in their price cap.
  • I see the cryptocurrency enthusiasts are posting their elations over the Bitcoin price.
  • Naturally, people dream of becoming rich by owning Bitcoin.

But can you really become rich holding cryptocurrencies?

Does Bitcoin price really matter, say, for the common people?

  • When we own some cryptocurrencies, we are so happy.
  • We write on blogs about how we raised our cryptocurrency holdings.
  • Some of us offer tips and advice on how to gain by investing in cryptocurrencies.
  • Some of the so-called experts write about how they knew and predicted the price cap of Bitcoin.

But, does Bitcoin price really matter to the common people?

Can we use Bitcoin to purchase and sell our day-to-day necessities and items?

Most of us can't use cryptocurrencies to buy/sell real-world items.

  • Governments of most countries have strong regulations on cryptocurrencies.

Can we use cryptocurrencies to buy our daily requirements, such as food items like groceries?

  • Some platforms are there that accept cryptocurrency payments.

In the recent past, I purchased domain names and hosting packs using Bitcoin Cash, aka BCH.

  • But I can't buy everyday necessities using BCH.
  • Our local vendors and shops accept only fiat payment.

What can we do with cryptocurrencies?
