The RisingStar Record - Issue no. 17 - 14 December 2021 - Walking in a Wonderland...

By Silver Crypto | Tales of the Crypt0 | 13 Dec 2021

This record started as a progress check on getting to being a Starbits Millionaire.  Now that I'm here I'll keep doing it but there will be some tweaks as I figure out my next goals in Rising Star!

First things first, if RisingStar sounds interesting to you, give it a go:

In the special edition of the RisingStar Record you'll have seen that I was lucky enough to find a Christmas Choir and they've been singing ever since but despite the Choir's angelic voices no special edition christmas cards have been found.  On the upside I purchased three packs during the week so my stats have jumped massively!

Metrics

Week 17 - big jump in stats.

Lets start with the basics

 - Missions completed - 117 missions this week - The christmas carolling mission is quite short so I've been burning pizza and doing the quest as much as I can.

 - Cards owned - A ton of cards added as I cracked three lots of 12 packs in the search for copies of the Christmas Choir.  I now have 81 unique cards and 154 in total - that is more than twice the amount of uniques and more than three times the total (obviously quite a few duplicates were found!).

 - Starbits - 18,590 - obviously the balance has dived since I spent 300,000 starbits on packs.

 - Skill/Fans/Ego - With all the cards gained my stats have increased massively.  I now have almost a 2000 skill buffer over the fans which is good.

 - Level 72 - The christmas carolling mission doesn't give experience so my experience gains took a bit of a dive and I only achieved one level this week.  Still thats one level closer to making a band!

 - Loan - I decided to convert the loan balance to be the approximate amount I purchased with hive & other tokens I'd saved for a while.  I think the actual amount was a bit less than that as I think the rate was a bit better when I did it but it was around 438k starbits.  This will be easier to track than withdrawing and seeing the conversion especially where Hive has increased in value so much.  I'll be happy to take what starbits out I can and can invest/convert it as and when feels right.

Current Strategy and considerations

 - Quest Rotation - for the present is Christmas Carolling/Starbits Millionair, Production Lesson, Radio Interview, Pizza Repeat or something like that.  Not much starbit earning (outside of the millionaire mission) but hopefully I'll get the elusive christmas cards!

 - Loan (Hive) - I think I'll start working on the "loan" in the new year and build the RisingStar account for a few weeks (and do the Xmas event mostly).

And that sums things up for another week - let me know in the comments if you have any thoughts.

If this all sounds fun to you the join up (my referral link is below or you could just go to the game directly).
