Splinterlands - Still doing dailies - not sure what to spend DEC on yet and Healing Troops are great

Rollercoin is still pretty quiet - but on an amusing note I did receive an email today from the Rollercoin team advising that it was their Third Birthday and that the Minerversary III was available - a bit late?  Maybe just my email was slow to pick it up, who knows.!

Anyway, to Splinterlands - first things first, feel free to just go to their website directly but if Splinterlands interests you I'd be very happy if you joined up with my referral link:

I continue doing dailies - not sure if anyone has noticed but it appears they are resetting 10 hours later than previously.  Maybe they do that (as some other games do) to make it fairer internationally so everyone gets inconvenienced at some point or another as we're all in different timezones.

Anyway, since my last post, I've picked up the following from daily quests (I think, I may have missed a day or two...)

  • 34 Dec
  • Alchemy Potion
  • Chain Spinner (see below)
  • Another Alchemy Potion

So I guess I'm just staking up the potions for now.

Chain Spinner

So this is the Chain Spinner - It looks pretty cool and has the ability "Void Armor" which makes magical attacks hit the armor first (it normally goes straight to health).

I don't know if he's useful or valuable but its another card to the library.

So my DEC balance is now 850.713 - its grown a lot from being well to put it bluntly, ZERO.  I have looked at a few guides and a number suggest getting neutral cards first, such as the Chicken or Ooze - but they do cost a lot and a lot are higher than level 3 so I wouldnt be able to use it with only level 3 starter summoners.

I guess I'll just keep stacking DEC till I have a better plan.

Healing Troops

I'd just like to give a shout out to Cerberus and his healing ability - he has helped me win a lot of battles as a second tank to living lava - I use him and Living Lava on any battles with a mana cap over 20 with a load of ranged cards after - seems to work well!

So that's a quick update on Splinterlands for now - I can't just keep on gambling on Betfury all the time!

Hope you found the post interesting and that if you're interested in Splinterlands you'll give it a go (hopefully with my referral code!)
