Hey there, cryptocurrency fam!

Our interview series is going to Publish0x, and today we are staring with our chat with Reuben Yap - the Project Steward at Zcoin.

Briefly – what is Zcoin?

Zcoin is a project focusing on bringing individual liberty to everyone involved. The main idea is in ensuring financial privacy for the users of the blockchain. The project was originally built on Zerocoin protocol. At the time of Zcoin creation, Zerocoin was one of the most developed privacy protocols out there. Later, Zcoin switched to running on Sigma. Lelantus, a new introduction to Zcoin systems, is also built on Sigma. You can read more about the new protocol on the official website of Zcoin.

An interesting fact is that Zcoin blockchain platform was used in the election of a Democratic party leader in Thailand. Using Zcoin to receive the votes was a great example of achieving scalability and real-world usage of blockchains.
