What is DigiByte?

DigiByte DGB is an open-source cryptocurrency running on DigyByte blockchain – a decentralized network created back in 2013. The blockchain itself is based on Bitcoin, but the improvements introduced by the developers made DigiByte faster and more scalable. In fact, using DGB is one of the fastest ways to transact cryptocurrency due to speedy block creation. A new block appears every 15 seconds. 

The main goals behind DigiByte are making cryptocurrency use faster, cheaper, and overall more convenient – all of this without sacrificing the ideas of decentralization.
