Maria Florence Anjiras

There is always a very realization that this can happen to anyone. What would it take for a person to actually care? Would it be when their loved one is taken. Let us go into another Mystery file and see if anyone can give any insight to this unsolved case.
Maria Florence Anjiras was born on August 10, 1961. She has been missing since February 12, 1976. This means she would have been 14 years old at the time of her gone missing. She was last seen wearing A green Norwalk High School jacket with "Mia" and the number 79 written on it. She was also wearing a peach-colored sweater, white canvas pants and brown shoes.
Maria was last seen at her home on Milwood Road in Norwalk, Connecticut on February 12, 1976. She was supposed to go to a vocal lesson in the afternoon. After that she was suppose to babysit for a neighbor that very evening. The last time she was seen was by her Father at 2:15 PM as he was leaving for work
Maria did not go to her lesson or her 5:00 PM. babysitting job. Her bicycle was discovered abandoned near St. Mary’s Lane, which is about a mile away from her residence. That bicycle was discovered after her disappearance.
There were several reported sightings of her around Norwalk in the days and weeks after her disappearance; many of the witnesses were people who knew her. She was reportedly seen at the Duchess Restaurant on Main Street and possibly in an orange car and a black car in the same vicinity.
There has been no new leads as of this time. Maria would be 61 years of age today. It is unnerving to know that no body has been recovered, and there is no leaks, or information that she was found.
With all the information we have today, one has to wonder was she trafficked, or was she killed? There is complete silence for all these years. There is no telling what could be uncovered if there is any person out there that might know something.
