Another year has gone by.
2022 was sort of a wild ride! We had a huge bull run then a really nasty bear market that we are still trying to figure out if we are getting out soon or not.
Over the past few days, people started to think about what are the things they want to accomplish during the next year. To be fair, I haven't even thought about that until now due to all the holidays and family events. So, even in the event of being tagged as a cliche, I reckon today is the day to write those crypto resolutions down.
1 - Produce Monthly Earning Reports
I think this is a good way to be accountable and show other people what is possible within this crypto space. Crypto earnings is a good way to check crypto balances and see the progress made over time. Always good to see how much we can improve upon.
2 - Get more involved with crypto
Got some ideas and ongoing projects that I could potentially hook with crypto. I started also to get comfortable with Haskell which will help me to create and develop stuff with Cardano. Solana had potential as it uses rust, but I dislike the VC pump and dumps schemes and network reboots. Ethereum would have been a good thing but I am not a huge fan of the high gas fees. Therefore, TO ME, there are not many chains that offers security and features besides Cardano. (And yes, Cardano was late in the game for smart contracts, but transaction fees are WAY lower and honestly, tech-wise Cardano is far superior to Ethereum. Yup. Deal with it.)
3 - Take profits often and reinvest
Whenever possible, this year I should keep an eye on the amount of profits and not trying to figure out the tops and bottoms. Once I find acceptable level of profits I should get some out, then reinvest the rest. Simple is better than complex, so I will try to make any option as lean and simple as possible
4 - Write more often about crypto
This is a though one, because, beside work, I have family duties. Maybe I should try to schedule a non-negotiable time to focus on this craft during the week. Something that I also struggle with is the reach or audience. I am just starting with this, so I am not sure what medium or channels I should target. Also should I focus on a certain type of readers? I guess I will keep my style, and I hope to see an improvement over time.
And that's pretty much it. Hit me up/Reach out on noise! (https://noise.app/IggyDotDev)
All the best and have a wonderful new year 2023!
