Renting Cards to Stay In Bronze 1

New Image.png

Playing in Bronze again has been a bit of fun and showing that this game is very different in Bronze compared to gold and higher. The goal of my new account is to show a lot of tools on Hive and Splinterlands that are there to allow them to be able to continue to grow their card collection and hive power at the same time. I have said in the past but I started with $150 and plan to add no more funds outside of what I earn on my blog or from lucky rewards in the game. Today I want to cover how I got my very low-level team some extra power so I could get into bronze 1.

Here is my account and after just a few days here we are in bronze one. Also as you can see I have won enough to make it into silver but I am 9445 power short of that League. Can you turn to the rental market to make that up? Well let's take a look at the best price per collection power boost by using the rental market on Peakmonters

When you first look at the chart it seems like it could be possible but as you look closer these cards are spread out all over the place. I only have 3 teams with level 2 cards. Death, Earth, and Life. If you start this up might want to go Water over Earth as they seem to be better. But I don't see a clear way to help my decks and push me up to silver. But did you notice that I am just barely in bronze 1? Yup, that is because those teams and a few cards at level 3 were not enough to get me to bronze 1. I had to turn to the rental market but I targeted cards that would help me win not just get CP.

The first card I targeted is the same one you should try for a dragon summoner. I got myself a Quix the Devious as he is the cheapest. This is a great card because if he is around I can use him with any of my level 2 teams or just him with one of the level 1 teams but still use higher-level neutral cards. Then I went for a few dragon cards that I can use with him. Djinn Chawla and Void Dragon are the best and Fire Spitter has 2 attack at level 1. They round out the good ones. I also got Zyvax Vuul but might let that expire not working so well. For the death team I got a Harklaw I might keep him but am not using him much. For earth, I picked up a Hunter Jarx and Acid Shooter this was more because they were cheap and allowed me to rent out an epic I had a double of. They won't help that much but worth keeping me in bronze 1 for now.

After seeing that I couldn't make it to silver it was time to claim my quest reward. Ya, it is a little trick that you can do your quest in a lower league and level up to the next one and get the reward in the next one. This might change because there are some exploits that can be done yet for now that is how it is done.

Haha 10 credits but better than nothing. For now, my goal will be to keep playing each day to do my quest and take part in the blog till I can level up my water team. Then I will see if I am close enough to rent more cards and make the jump to Silver 3.

I am a fan of Blockchain Games as they allow users to own the items. As the projects grow some of them are going to let items be moved from one game to another. It is setting the stage for finding a great weapon that can move with you from game to game. Or finding an item that will pay for you to start up in a new game. I am also a fan of any Blockchain Project that is looking to take power away from centralized platforms that take advantage of their customers. Like Celsius and Crypto.com
