What is Nodle ? The Nodle Cash app is a novel way to earn cryptocurrency from your smartphone. No additional hardware or crypto knowledge is needed. Anyone with a smartphone can participate as a node on the network as long as Bluetooth is enabled.
The Nodle Cash app is secure and no private information is collected. The location of the device is only used to compute rewards based on contribution to the network coverage and to locate Bluetooth devices at the request of their owners.
The more your Nodle app runs the more you earn. The app can run on screen or in the background. I recently placed an old smartphone in an office area with the Nodle app open 24/7 and earnings have skyrocketed. If you are concerned about killing your battery the app uses Bluetooth Low Energy resulting in only 1–3 % of daily battery usage.
How does Nodle work?
The Nodle Network`s architecture and system design leverage what is called “The Smartphone Infrastructure”, utilizing smartphones as nodes and base stations for the network. The team at Nodle has developed an innovative way to grow the network through “proof of connectivity”. Using this method, mobile application developers and consumers compete and participate in the network by enabling their smartphones to provide resources such as wireless radio and bandwidth, and in exchange for their contribution, get rewarded with Nodle Cash.
How can the Nodle Network empower individuals?
The Nodle Network has been built to empower individuals and create atomistic competition. Every smartphone owner has the opportunity to participate. All that is required is a smartphone and a mobile application. No special investment, knowledge, or skill is necessary. Once a user has joined the community and their mobile application has launched, they can automatically participate in the Nodle Network. This participation is called “proof of connectivity.” Every rewarded coin has been minted. A summary of the proof of work is stored on InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), and is attached to the minted coin on the blockchain via a link.
Nodle’s decentralized wireless network is currently made up of 5M daily active smartphones and 30M IoT devices discovered daily in over 100 countries , moving approximately 100 GB of data.
The total supply of NODL is 21 billion tokens. Roughly 60% are yet to be issued a reward by the network. This reward is paid out to nodes , SDK partners and validators.
