What is FireFox Relay?

Fire Fox Relay is a simple add-on based service that will enable you to easily create aliases for your e-mail account for all types of sites. 

This way you will not have to create additional e-mail accounts and still can be safe. For your email it will simply create an [email protected] that will  recive and forward email to your originall adress but also you will be able to reply for those emails.

Why should i use it?

Let's say you want to contact a person about purchasing a bike he/she posted on your local community dashboard. You do not know who is on the other side, so it is a good idea to use a random FireFox Relay adress to stay safe. 

Or maybe you are purchasing flowers for your love in an online flower store, and that buisness might be really honest hard working people, but such establishemnts are more and more being targeted by criminals as their security awareness and budget for online security is lower than in big companies. And the data they have is still a juicy loot for many of criminals. 

Sure thing, you might say that you are very aware and you have all the different passwords to all the different domains and all of them are randomly generated by the state of the art software and you have a 2FA everywhere where it is possible. And yes you might, but think about let's say your grandparents or even parents who would recive and email asking for some personal data from your email adress? Scammers are very creative and thay can use just that to hurt you or those who are close to you. 

This will make me and my loved ones safe?

Do you have locks in your house door? Do they give you 100% of safety? Do you go around shouting your adress and where and with who you were on holidays? 

This will make you safer while browsing, but it is not a soultion to everything.
