Stablecoin Economy: Ultimate Guide to Secure Digital Finance

On May 14, 2020, the Stablecoin Education Group released its second stablecoin book: Stablecoin Economy: Ultimate Guide to Secure Digital Finance. Founded by Koosha Azim and Alyze Sam, the SEG aims to disrupt stablecoin education and adoption in financial institutions. The group believes in the foundation of a stablecoin fiat-based global economy where individuals may leverage stable crypto-assets for their own financial stability.

"Stablecoins bridge the decentralized wild world of cryptocurrency with conservative legacy banking systems." - Koosha Azim

Author, Alyze Sam is a self-proclaimed ‘old-school nerd.” Sam was an early investor in Bitcoin; she states it wasn’t the currency that interested her, but the magic found in the technology. Sam’s bio includes spending 12 years as a mental health and hospice nurse. She states she got into crypto ‘by accident’ as she suffered multiple spinal injuries in a major auto collision, leading to a 4 year battle with a rare autoimmune disease. Sam expressed hopelessness to those close to her, but she fought for her life and the blockchain community.

Both Sam and Koosha use their unique stories to amplify their missions. Right now, educating the general public on stablecoins is their top priority.

Insightful Interview

Koosha Azim was recently on the Rice Crypto Show where he spoke about his young career in the fintech space. He described how being an independent variable for others' curiosity in cryptocurrency inspires further drive in the space.

In this interview, Koosha revealed the significance of his latest works and how Stablecoin Economy: Ultimate Guide to Secure Digital Finance can be of use to traditional financial technologists. With the SEG broadening the horizon for stablecoin research, targeting third world populations is now an ideal educational opportunity.

The Stablecoin Education Group believes in the future of decentralized fiat currency in Africa. Instead of adopting old banking practices, African nations may deploy stablecoins to onramp citizens on a modern financial system involving cryptocurrencies. While crypto threatens the authority of banks, developers in these developing regions have begun leveraging blockchain technology to democratize wealth.

"Deploying stable assets in the decentralized economy can reduce market volatility and introduce innovative ways to generate profit." - Koosha Azim

Following the opening of African universities, the Africa Blockchain Univeristy plans to integrate the SEG's book material into university course curriculum. By integrating with university curriculum, industry leaders like Koosha continue building talent in diverse regions across the world. Equipped with cutting-edge educational resources, students from Lagos to Lesotho may devote their skills to the future of blockchain technology.
