Hello Splinters Family, Welcome back

This week, we are featuring the Earthquake ruleset.

Earthquakes have a disadvantage to the no-flying monster, At every end of the turn they have received 2 damage. To avoid this damage need to use a monster with flying abilities or a summoner to give the flying ability to the monster. Currently, the only summoner that gives flying abilities is BRIGHTON BLOOM.

Another way is to lessen the damaging effect of earthquakes. To lessen you can use monsters with armor or abilities that can lessen the damaging effects of earthquakes. Below are the following abilities, you can use:

COUNTER

To counter the flying abilities you can use a monster or summoner with snare abilities. SNARE ability can remove the flying of the monster flying abilities given by the summoner. Currently, the only summoner with snare abilities is VERA SALACIA.

RULESET

• Earthquake
• Are You Not Entertained
• Noxious Fumes
• 52 Mana Cap

I used GRANDMASTER RATHE to lessen the of earthquakes. The additional +1armor given by the summoner helps to lessen the damage of the earthquake for the 1st hit.

BATTLE LINE-UP

• IMPERIAL KNIGHT - The heal plus armor of Imperial Knight helps lessen the effect of the earthquake. The void armor abilities to avoid the direct hit of the mage attacker to the life.

• DJINN RENOVA - 2nd position Mage attacker and give additional health to all monsters because of the strengthen ability.

• KRALUS - A legendary life monster with two attacks ability (melee and mage attack). additional ability of Kralus is fly to avoid damage from earthquakes and Heal.

• VENARI CRYSTALSMITH - Range attacker with tank heal ability. To heal the 1st position monster and to lessen the effect of earthquake damage to the 1st position.

• ADELADE BRIGHTWING - Flying legendary life monster with the ability to repair the shield of my 1st position monster.

• WAR PEGASUS - A ranged attacker with the ability to fly to avoid earthquake damage. Additional Shatter ability to remove the armor of the opponent.

ROUND BY ROUND BATTLE

ROUND 1

• All my attacks were absorbed by the taunt of my opponent.

ROUND 2

• Before starting round 2 all non-flying monsters got 2 damage from the earthquake effect and additional 2 poison damage to all monsters that had no Immunity ability because of the Noxious Fumes effect.
• In this round Imperial knight kill but rebirth because of the resurrect ability of Adelade Brightwing ability.

ROUND 3

• Before starting round 3 another 4 damage got all monster because of the earthquakes and Noxious Fumes effect.
• Opponent martyr ability was also activated before starting round 3 additional +1 stat was given to Uriel and Adelade to my opponent.

ROUND 5

• Battle end in round 5. Because of the immunity and flying abilities of Kralus no damage got from Noxious Fumes and earthquakes.

For me, my strategy was successful in putting some monsters with flying abilities. and choosing Rathe as a summoner is help in lessen the damage of earthquakes because of the additional armor given. Kralus is also a factor in the battle flaying and immunity abilities got no damage in the 2 ruleset.
