“The human mind can never be satisfied; never at rest. Always on the stretch for something new; some strange novelty.” James Klyman
We all suffer. But pain and suffering are the touchstones to freedom. A Journey to understanding and spiritual growth. We each have the opportunity to reclaim our Spirituality and our desire to know our Higher
Power intimately. The gate stands open to mastery over our own lives. We can overcome and transcend stifled desires, repressed longings in our lives.
Humans have a continuous infinite stream of thoughts. Learn to let them float on by like clouds in the sky. So you begin to have a shift in consciousness. Turning inward in meditation you can treat yourself by examining and re-organizing your authentic self. Acceptance of one’s own faults and without judgements creates less pain and suffering. When we surrender to Spirit, situations resolve themselves naturally, authentically.
Negativity is Resistance.
Feeling edgy? Irritable? Life got you down? Critical of others? Don’t know why? In a rut? Do you enjoy your profession? Not sure what to do with your life? Do you feel like something’s missing in your life but can’t say exactly what it is? Has your time each day become unmanageable?
We have an infinite number of “thoughts.” So we must re-train our minds to drop negative thoughts like a hot potato. Ego; role identification encroach on our daily lives, we subconsciously adopt the role and skew reality. Once we are aware of this phenomenon of our personality we can see the futility of this and correct our actions.
Conditioned ideologies over generations have fabricated tension to the mind/body. We can/must find ways to detach ourselves from recurring aversions.
People are hungry for the Truth. Parched. Thirsty for answers. This is a major reason for conflict and strife. We’re suffering growing pains of the high tech and globalist political revolution. Humanity, for the most part is unawakened. In the course of a lifetime we can only expect to even understand even a tiny slice. Like a flashlight shining in the darkness, some of us can feel allumed. But even nirvana is a mere cross-section; only a glimpse in time.
Awareness is the greatest agent for change. As quickly as shining a flashlight allows us to see in the dark, unconscious thought patterns can transcend the egoic mind; negative thought patterns dissolve miraculously.
We are each responsible for our own contribution to the future. The soul must accept and proclaim its integrities. Find comfort in YOUR internal realities!
All things must come to rest.
Meditation is a habit. Not a hobby. Enlightenment can happen in an instant when we are authentic with ourselves. Our authentic self. Flashes of absolute clarity that some call enlightened or awakened.
There can be no stillness if the ego keeps interrupting with plots, replays, ruminations. Stay in the present - remove your thoughts from the situation.
Observe the facts. Not emotion. Pledge to yourself to stay calm during the day’s difficulties - “I will keep my emotions in check!”
We can relax and stop struggling for existence with constant anxieties hanging over our heads.
“My rationalized mind was like a computer out of control until I finally gave up. Once I re-learned to relax and be still; listen to that inner ( still small ) voice, I began to experience a cathartic shift in consciousness to that of the witness, the observer, the watcher - Initiation of consciousness takes place with the realization that I am not really the Thinker - I am the infinite expression of the Spirit within; the thought behind the thinker.
Observe the facts; not the emotions. Flashes of enlightenment appear as we clear the path in a non-judgemental, impersonal way. We begin to experience brief periods of absolute clarity. Enlightenment can happen in an instant when we are our authentic, true self.
