Hello everyone.
I had planned on attending the BFKA's collection and cookout today. Alas, it was cancelled. The Green River where it was to be held was high and more rain was expected. It did get cancelled early enough to no be a huge disappointment today. I have some Medaka eggs on the way. They are due to arrive Monday. I will check the mail in case they arrive today. With the cancellation, MCAS is having a meeting today. Rain is in the forecast and I don't want to drive again in the rain. I will be attending the July meeting. Hopefully, it won't rain. They are having a guest speaker who is supposed to bring some Florida Native Fish. Hopefully, I can get a pair or two of them. I already have a pair of Florida Flag Fish.
Besides the Medaka eggs arriving Monday, I have an Amazon order due then too. I ordered some items that I will need for scale modeling. Even if I DIY the spray booth instead of ordering it, I will still need these items. Since I had plenty of Amazon Gift Card money, these items were basically free. I play games on my phone to earn Swagbucks and now do Grabtap. Grabtap is from StreamElements. Doing Grabtap can earn AGC and cash. The AGC are acquired though points you get from playing the games and meeting certain goals within those games. Already I have ordered a $50 AGC. As for the cash portion, they limit it to one withdrawal every 30 days with a $10 minimum. I currently have over $90 on there. Trying to wait for $100, but I might go ahead an withdraw what I have so I can do an early July withdrawal.
Most likely will start my scale modeling adventure in July. Gaahleri should release another air compressor in July. Paints are either July or August. I need both of those as well as an airbrush. I am leaning towards a Mobius-TG. I just think the trigger style airbrush will be easier on my right index finger. I'm 58 years old and as the saying goes "I'm not getting any younger"
LEGO has seen me build the TOM and JERRY set of BrickHeadz. I have the Captain America part of the Captain America and Red Hulk set built. I should get the Red Hulk built today or Sunday. I will do a video for YouTube showing those off. I prefer the BrickHeadz because they build similar. Also, they aren't the most complicated builds. Lastly, they don't have any stickers as the pieces are printed that need to be.
I'm excited that they are going to produce ONE PIECE sets for August. This included two BrickHeadz. I will most likely get those day one and look for the other sets on sale. So far I haven't bought any sets that were triple digits except for the A-frame Cabin during the Black Friday Sale. I plan to stick to that and stay away from the two sets that are in triple digits. I've only watched the first 60 ish episodes of ONE PIECE. The set LEGO is producing are based on the Netflix show. Therefore, it is content that is covered in the anime I have seen.
BTC is staying above $100K. That is good for a hodler like me. It would be nice to see it get to $150K and stay there. As long as it stays at $100K or more this is good. I tend to have most of my eggs in the BTC basket. Since I don't trade, BTC seems to be a good spot for me to be in.
