Writing this because I felt like posting something.
My daily routine has helped me adjust to living alone. Those of you who have read my previous posts know that my mother passed away November 5th. She had been ill from 3 cancers. The liver cancer is the worst she had. She went through chemotherapy and radiation treatment during 2022. She hung on for 1 month after her last radiation treatment.
I have been attempting to keep busy as that seems to help me quite a bit. I do find it more difficult to find things to hold my interest. I have been watching the LCS and the LEC. I even watched the MSI. I do YouTube recaps of each day. Those are to ensure I watch and pay attention. I am currently trying to grow my YouTube channel. One needs 1000 subs and a good bit of watch time to get monetized. Recently, the channel has gone from 125 to 400 subs. Amazing growth to be sure. However, it isn't enough for YouTube.
Diablo IV has early access on June 2nd. I will be playing it. I will be streaming it and then putting it on YouTube. Also plan to play F1 Manager 23 when it releases. Also really like games that are slower paced and/or are turn-based. With my having a stroke in 2020, I think just fine, but I'm a bit slower than I used to be. I can use a keyboard and mouse just fine. A controller works for me as long as I have time to input the correct button. I don't have the greatest reliability to hit A, B, X, Y correctly if it requires a fast input.
Recently I have been playing a lot of demos and prologues for YouTube. I did purchase Darkest Dungeon 2 and won a twitter giveaway for a key for Above Snakes. I highly recommend both of those games. Also, Wylde Flowers is another good game. I do have several game on my Steam Wishlist. I also ask for keys for games on Key Mailer. I get a few game keys per year from there.
Xbox Game Pass for PC is another way I get to play a bunch of games that I otherwise wouldn't get to play. It is a meme to say so, but it is a great value.
