Team BDS swept Team Vitality yesterday and they completely handled VIT. 

I was a bit surprised by the result but my eyes watched the three games yesterday and BDS did indeed defeat Vitality.

Day One of the playoffs for the LEC Spring Split was Monday. The Playoffs continue Friday with G2 Esports taking on the MAD Lions. The loser of that Bo5 is eliminated from playoffs with the winner playing Team Vitality on Saturday. The loser of that is eliminated and the winner advances to play BDS on Sunday.

BDS gets to wait until Sunday to play again. Not sure if that time off will be good for them or not. They did completely own VIT and if they face them again they would have to be the favorites. Unfortunately for them I expect G2 to advance to the finals and take them on.  Not sure who will be favored in the finals if G2 does make it there. 

March 20, 2023 G2 defeated BDS in a Bo1. BDS is 14-2 thus far this split only losing to G2 and SK. SK is eliminated and they did play BDS while SK was faring better. 

BDS is really good. I do expect them to defeat anyone except G2 in the finals. Ideally for them, they see G2 lose to either MAD of VIT. BDS will win the Spring Split and go to MSI unless they have to face G2. If G2 win this split, MAD will be going to MSI as the 2 seed for the EU. Otherwise, the winner of this split is the 1 seed for EU at MSI and G2 will be the 2 seed.

To answer the original question: Yes BDS are the real deal. They just look to be the 2nd best team in the LEC.
