My Crypto Estate Worth $1000 - Nov 2020

Hello crypto fans,

As many here, I am going to share with you how my crypto estate grows. As you can see from the title, it's not a big one. It's not pennies either, so I think that this article is for an average Joe.

What I will do here, I will share my current status and at every end of month will update you on the growth (hopefully). Some of the services I use are well established, but most are my recent experiments. Since this is my first post on my estate, I will describe briefly every service (for impatient readers - it's only 6 of them).

There's also one site I'd discourage everyone from using - Coin-birds. They are simply a Ponzo scheme and you can get anything out of it only if you recruit some 5 active referrals. And active in their case means guys who have sent their hard earned crypto into the platform. Stay clear of them (and therefore no referral link). The only good thing I can say, is that their payout system via Payeer is super fast.

1. Publish0x

Let's start with Publish0x. Joined just a few weeks ago, my wallets are not impressive at all. I have written a few articles, half are travel-related, half about my favorite DeFi - XYO. I read articles and give tips as much as I can, almost every day.

Publish0x

2. Freebitcoi.in

My favorite - and currently the only one - faucet is Freebitco.in. It's one I've referred to friends face-to-face. No ads popping add, no malware, proven payouts. Working from home, I spin the faucet every now and then (limited to 1 per hour) and get at least 0.00000011 BTC per spin (amount varies depending on BTC/USD price). There's a small chance (1 in 10000) of getting 0.01057913 BTC. This has never happened to me, but I did win 0.00105791 BTC once and 0.00010579 BTC several times. All together, I've collected 0.00719103 BTC. Sweet thing, after reaching 0.0003 BTC the site pays daily compounded interest (4.08% annually). So far I've collected 0.00017070 BTC this way. I am not very active with getting referrals, so most of the crypto collected comes from spinning. Speaking of referrals, I share my bonus with them based on recent (weekly) activity

My verdict: highly recommended

3. Miny.cc

This is a mining pool. It accepts BTC, ETH and LTC. Proceeds are paid daily in MNY token (currently worth about $4). Selling MNY burns them, so the tokens will not be diluted. My current status is:

Miny.cc

To get a daily return as shown above, my pools are worth 0.022 BTC and 0.59 ETH. Note that even though you can get your crypto back any time, there's a release fee to be paid - so this is not for a quick gain. But being patient pays out - the longer you keep your crypto in the active pools, the higher income you earn. On top of it, there's a daily spin, which multiplies your stacked MNY - another incentive to keep the proceeds there.

What I like about Miny (and the reason for choosing them over other mining pools) is their owners' transparency and a clear roadmap extending three years ahead. Here's a recent message from their CEO with an honest explanation of why their iOS app has been delayed.

My verdict: still new to it, so a careful recommendation.

4. Rollercoin

This is the coolest mining pool I've ever used. As with other pools, you put your BTC, ETH or DOGE and get paid, in their case, every 5 minutes. The fun part is that you can boost your hashrate by playing simple games such as Arcanoid or 2048. In fact, you don't need to invest anyhting - if you have plenty of time and can play games, you will earn crypto simply by playing. No joke - and their are not scammers. They earn money from ad placements (but nothing aggressive, no popus / popunders, no malware either). So the more you play, the more they get from the ads and they share their proceeds with you. In essence, Rollercoin do what Publish0x do here. Fair enough for me.

Now, the reason I am there is the fun part. Cool, well designed interface, simple games - for me ideal when waiting to join a call at work. I've bought some miners there, using the Halloween and Black Friday sales. If I don't play any games, my income is ≈ 0.0000009 ETH every 5 minutes.

As I did pay out to boost my pool at Miny, my current balance is only 0,001462 ETH.

I've verified payouts, all good. My verdict: coolly recommended

5. PI Network

PI has not yet earned me a single cent. PI is a new crypto, currently not traded anywhere. It's an mobile app which basically is a PI miner. So this is an experiment - easy one, as no investment is needed. Just download the app (use Merthin as the invitation code) and start mining. It's very gentle on the battery, so I am ok using it even when hiking outside.  My current balance is 769 PI.

My verdict: nothing to loose trying out. Let's see what it becomes.

6. Coin App and XYO World

I have described (part one and part two) how Coin BOSS can be used for gaining referrals. I have also boasted on my purchase of a piece of the World (well, the XYO World). My XYO holdings (6 months into using it, but having spent significant amounts, as explained in the articles mentioned) are worth some $100. In essence, it's geo-location verification mobile app (this is quite rude to the battery, I only use it when a power source is available). Geo-location tokens are a very interesting concept and I see a potential here. So I will keep collecting XYO and see how it develops.

My verdict: definitely worth trying. Recommended, as there's no risk in trying.

Summary

I will continue using the above and will report on progress with monthly cadence. As I have already put some $1000 into them (Miny and Rollercoin), I am not going to invest anymore there. Seeds planted, now let them grow into sweet fruits. The other four did not require any investments. I will let Freebitco.in, Publish0x, PI and Coin App grow crypto for me (the latter two do not even require much action on my side). Just recently I have created an account with Peakd, a site just like Publish0x - you get tokens (HIVE in their case) for writing articles). Unlike Publish0x, however, the majority of articles are not on crypto (although there's a solid section). Bloggers of all kinds are welcome there. I will add Peakd to my review next month.
