Drill Music is a sub genre created in Chicago by a man called PAC MAN who was killed 2010 June 21st at the age of 25. Drill Music aside from other genres is incorporated of a few key elements that has managed to influence mainstream hip hop in every way. These elements  first I would say gangs , Opposition, War, Killing, mocking of the dead opposition thru music, bloggers & fans. These gangs actually diss each other in music by disrespecting the opposition fallen soldiers,  hunt each other down kill each other then make a song about it  while also boasting about it online social media ect…. 
then you have the bloggers putting out information that they get from these musicians entertainers /killer/gang members, and let’s not forget the fans that have been following these wars since 2010 and most have become emotionally invested in this culture & entertainers within the field.
