What is happening with Brave browser! A Let’s Simplify Things! post!

By DrYunani | Simplify | 8 Nov 2020

A warm welcome to another Let’s Simplify Things! post!

In this post let us have a look at what is happening with the Brave browser and especially regarding CAPTCHA.

The past month or so I noticed that every time I needed to verify myself using Google’s CAPTCHA I needed multiple times to go through the test in order to pass it.

Usually I had to try 3 to 4 times to get approved.

Imagine now the frustration if you have to do this around 50 times a day!

So I started going to the same pages at the same time using Google’s Chrome.

And I found out that miraculously I faced no issues at all!

Some times I even got verified without having to choose any images!

It became then obvious to me that something was wrong here!

But was it Brave’s fault or Google’s fault?

Unfortunately I can not answer that with a 100% confidence.

I can only tell you what I think the scenarios are…

For me it is either that Google is fighting dirty against Brave.

Or that Brave’s shield system is messing up with Google’s CAPTCHA.

I tend to choose the first scenario as I turned off the shield and I was still experiencing the same issues.

I sure hope the team at Brave will fix this out quickly as it is hurting the browser’s usage!

Please leave me a comment if you are also experiencing the same issue or if you know more about it!

Having a look at this months payout, I can sadly say that the issues remain!

I used to average at least ten times what I received this month.

I don’t say that it was not the correct amount, as that used to be the issue before.

But that they were barely any ads pushed to my browsers the past month!

Notice that I said browsers as I use the Brave browser in multiple machines and versions.

I’m sure we all agree that they need to do something about it, as it starts to feel like the project is moving backwards!

On some positive news was added on the direct trade options!

With that addition you can now directly, from the browser's first page, buy and sell your crypto via, Gemini and Binance!

Last but not least we come to another issue I believe it is crucial…Uphold!

In general I have nothing against Uphold, they offer a good service.

It is simple and easy to use although a bit expensive.

The issue for me is that we do not have the option to setup our own wallet address and receive our monthly payout there.

Especially with what happened with CredEarn the issue is more relevant now than ever.

So far I have no reason to say that Uphold is not safe or unreliable.

I just like to have the option to receive my earned BAT at my own wallet.

At the end of the day we all know … your keys, your money!

To summarise and simplify it, Brave browser remains the browser to use but has run into some issues that I believe are not that hard to solve.

Please leave a comment with your thoughts!

Finally, before saying goodbye, I want to let everyone know that I have no sponsors, this post is not sponsored by Brave or anyone else whatsoever!

You will only find my personal invitation link to Brave browser, and Binance which I highly appreciate it if you use them to download the browser and to access Binance or!

The above reflect my personal views and by no means should be taken as a recommendation to use or not use any service or equipment whatsoever!

Please feel free to make any suggestions or comments especially on what you would like to see next being simplified!

Until the next post….

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
