Bitcoin price evolution

Bitcoin price evolution

By Simplify Crypto | Simplify Crypto | 3 Nov 2020

Last November 31, the Bitcoin whitepaper turned 12.

It was 12 years ago that Satoshi Nakamoto published the whitepaper that would be implemented in 2010.

The first transaction involving Bitcoin was in May 2010, which was marked in history as Bitcoin Pizza Day.

From this first transaction Bitcoin started to have a value associated with it.

But what is the value of Bitcoin on your birthday?

The table below shows the price of Bitcoin each year of existence on the 31st of October.

The table has the following columns: Year, Price, Percentage of variation each year.

As we can see in 2010 a bitcoin was only worth $0.23.

During these 12 years, only twice the price of bitcoin on his birthday had a negative variation compared to the previous year.

This demonstrates that Bitcoin has shown, over these years, that its fundamentals are increasingly solid.

Everything indicates that we can expect that in the coming years these fundamentals will remain solid, which could lead to an appreciation of the price of the same.
