1. Fold announces VISA card
Fold is a mobile app that offers users Bitcoin rewards for shopping. Meltem Demirors, the Chief Strategy Officer of CoinShares announced on twitter:
This is different than other cards in the industry. While other crypto cards allow spending of crypto, this card allows people to spend fiat and earn Bitcoin - And because the rewards are in Bitcoin, it is doesn't trigger any taxable events.
2. Microsoft's Azure Blockchain Service under strain
Microsoft users can deploy entire blockchain networks, in the cloud, using Azure. Since major parts of the world are under quarantine due to Coronavirus, the demand is surging for the service. Microsoft admitted that even Xbox Live is putting a strain on overall Azure capacity.
