Hello again my RollerFriends.

It seems like every week we do this thing where RollerCoin changes their double-profit coin and I write about how the most profitable coin to mine is still RLT.

Except not this week!

This week’s double coin is back to BTC:

Though usually I do a calculation and describe how you would get more RLT for your mining power than even the doubled coin, I was surprised to find that that’s not the case this week.

This week’s top contender is once again Ether! That’s right— the massive shift of network power toward BTC due to players trying to take advantage of the double-reward week has left ETH (not BTC) as the best use of power. I guess the ETH price high is really having its way with the market!

For the curious, these calculations are based on what a hash power of 500th/s will earn in in each of the mineable currencies, based on the current network power distribution. They are standardized to the value in RollerTokens by using the current cost of 1 RLT in each. The colored numbers represents the value of the block reward for 500th/s of each coin.
