There is a fantastic book "Breath" by James Nestor. It is scientific for those that like things backed up by science. It's spiritual for all that need a spiritual touch. It's cultural as we all don't have the same backgrounds. Lastly, it's evolutionary to understand why we are, where we are, today.

Now, not everyone has the time or likes to read a book. If you would like to get an understanding of what the book is about, have a listen to the Joe Rogan Experience Episode #1506 with James Nestor. The episode was only released some four months ago.

In this Episode, James mentions a site by Chuck McGee called Iced Viking Breathworks.

The importance of Breath can not be underestimated. There are many Kriyas in Kundalini Yoga and Pranayam is crucial in Hatha Yoga to name a few.

I do alternate nostril breathing daily before meditating to balance the mind.

So do a little research and try to begin some type of breathwork in your daily routine. You can join online classes, there are also Yoga classes which do Pranayam. Books, as you put it in your awareness, information will come to you just like by reading this article.

The results are amazing.
