ExpressCrypto's a big chunk of the free faucets online hell. This online wallet seems to be an unmissable platform when it comes to claim free tokens. At some point, you might even need a dedicated computer to deal with this free crypto faucets galaxy : indeed, most faucets will require an open thumbnail on your browser, in order to "mine" the selected token. That will clog your RAM very quickly.
But before we start and as usual, here's my disclaimer : This is not promotion about free faucet websites and definitely not financial advice. You should have a very reasonable way of dealing with your money. All mentioned websites in these series of articles are free of charge and you don't have to invest nor pay anything to use them. It will take some of your time, though.
EXPRESSCRYPTO
What is ExpressCrypto ? Well, let's use their own description, because I would only paraphrase here : "ExpressCrypto is a cryptocurrency micro wallet powered by ExpressGroup, designed to receive payouts from faucets."
How does it work ? After you create your account with an email, a username and a password, ExpressCrypto will assign you a "Unique ID" that looks like this : EC-UserID-123456 (this one might actually exist, but I'm using it for the purpose of the example). You'll find yours on your dashboard page.
Once you are assigned this Unique ID, you will be able to participate in as many free faucets that are active members of the ExpressCrypto galaxy as available and which will require your ExpressCrypto Unique ID to "mine" any token you are willing to claim.
The first place you will want to visit once your account is created on ExpressCrypto, is their "List of Sites" page, available in the left menu. There, you will find thousands of free faucets websites dedicated to the 30 cryptocurrencies that ExpressCrypto offers wallets for.
Main cryptocurrencies available on ExpressCrypto are Cardano, Litecoin, Tezos, Monero, Tron, Zcash, Tether, Bitcoin, Ethereum or Dash.
Now, let's say you want to claim some free Litecoin (LTC). Once on the "List of Sites" page, click on the "Litecoin" button to select the 107 free faucets that "paid at least once in the last 7 days" according to ExpressCrypto.
Then click twice on the "Ability to pay" column header, to display the sites that have a 100% chance of paying you out something.
Let's take as an example "Softairbay | Direct, Auto Faucet, Lottery LTC" owned by softairbay.com (who ever this is...).
You'll notice some interesting information here : the time this specific website has been online (almost 1 year for this one), the time frame (payout every 50 seconds for Softairbay, which is not true, it's actually 5 minutes), the number of users (the higher, the better I guess...) and the link to the website.
Here are some recommendations in order to optimize your experience of free faucet websites :
- If the website is asking to disable the adBlock, do so or you won't be able to use it.
- I would recommend to use Brave browser to interact with these ad orientated websites. It does a great job blocking most trackers and crazy popup windows that will drive you nuts after a while.
Regarding Softairbay, as I don't have an account for this website (before writing this article anyways), let's subscribe right now and check this out... Let's start with the usual requested information : username, email address, password, the now necessary ExpressCrypto user ID, the super annoying Captcha and the check button to agree to their terms. If any of these sites sends a registration confirmation email, confirm it in your mailbox and you're good to go.
SHORTLINKS & MINING POWER
Your new friends from now on, will be shortlinks (and PTC - pay to click - to a certain extend) : these are ad links you click (to see tons of ads) in order to get points, proprietary tokens or time to "mine" the crypto you are claiming :
- Clicking shortlinks will take you from a page to another for a while, through Captcha and countdowns, up to the final link that will credit your account in points or time. Click several available shortlinks to make sure your autofaucet lasts as long as possible throughout the day.
- A PTC (Pay to click) will take you to a website page to see and/or scroll for a period of time (a few seconds to a minute or so), in order to retrieve points or time.
In the case of Litecoin, go on Softairbay's autofaucet page and point out the Litecoin checkbox (with the L for Litecoin) : It says that you need 4CP (Softairbay's currency) to claim 73 LTC satoshis.
Now, click on "SHORTLINKS" on the upper menu and follow the instructions as described : "Hit the buttons and complete the shortlinks to get Claim Points. Every shortlink gives the amount of claim points (CP) specified in the button and can be completed a prefixed number of times."
ADS & CAPTCHA
Now, the ordeal starts for long minutes : Most of these pages are an insult to good taste, morality and any basic intellectual interest.
Going through foreign matters - as some pages are in Russian, Vietnamese or Thai - would be a good thing if it wasn't for ugly and incomprehensible contents. At some point, you won't even pay attention and will keep on clicking, struggling with the repetitive and stubborn captcha, that insists on asking you where the traffic lights, the crosswalks or the effing hydrants are...
I mean, it makes sense in a way, as fire is slowly growing inside your abused brain...
Vivid and tasteless colors share quickly put together ads and popup windows, in an ocean of disgust and deep boredom. Luckily, most shortlink pages can be dealt with the help of Brave's shield function, which is fantastic in many ways. Thank you Brave !
I also learnt to avoid shortlinks that would ask to turn the adblocker off. In that case, I don't even bother and move on to other shortlinks. Going through endless, unintelligible and loathsome ads can get on to one's nerves.
Once you've been doing this for an hour or so, you can no more and you need a relief of any sort. So, take a break and talk to a living being or go and have a run.
Be also aware that after some days of clicking frenzy, the captcha torture tool will block your ability to decipher them, because Google will consider that your computer or your network is sending automated queries. In that case, you'll be asked to try again later.
Captcha is so annoying, even though there are alternatives like, typing texts, clicking on a moving target, answering opinionated questions (long or short sleeves, real or CGI pictures...). Please shortlinks people, do your part and pick up other captcha solutions.
PTC
Pay to Click links are less of a pain, as they just require you to watch (to see, really) an open page for some time. You can always do something else, while the countdown is running, who cares... No one will notice, won't they ?. Of course, the reward is smaller and there are fewer links to click, but it's more relaxing.
WHICH AUTOFAUCETS ?
The websites I use on a regular basis - because they actually pay out and there's so much you can handle altogether - are :

PAYOUTS AND WITHDRAWALS
Don't forget that I'm going through this experience to bear witness to the absurdity and the total waste of time that this activity generates. I hope that testimony (and kind of documentary) will show how all of this is vain.
The time you need to reach the minimum withdrawal amount is not worth the reward : it will be 0.001LTC (0.23€), 10 ADA (10€), 0.01XMR (2.68€)... You can check the amounts in your ExpressCrypto dashboard.
So far, payouts on ExpressCrypto were very small and it's likely to remain this way.
