What is Axion?
Axion is the answer to our global financial markets that are on the brink of disaster
The original solution to this impending collapse was Bitcoin, a decentralized peer-to-peer currency. However, since its inception, certain aspects of Bitcoin, such as lack of speed and high fees, have shifted Bitcoin into more of a store-of-value than a currency. Axion is the currency to address that.
Why a relaunch?
Axion suffered an attack that was likely planned by a RocknBlock developer, involving an injection of malicious code at the time the code was deployed by altering code from OpenZeppelin dependencies.
The exploited function was not part of the audit that Certik and Hacken conducted as it was added afterward, directly before deployment.
We are happy to announce that the audited Axion code is flawless. This was a targeted attack designed to destroy the Axion project. We can only speculate as to why. Read more about the attack here.
