Many blockchains now have smart contracts capable of minting NFTs. I am blown away by the Tezos (XTZ) blockchain NFTs for a number of reasons. Incredibly low minting fees, integrated purchasing and transferring NFTs, speed of transfers, and industry leading security measures combined have attracted artists to mint limited premium NFTs on marketplaces such as Teia (https://teia.art/), Kalamint (https://kalamint.io), and Rarible (https://rarible.com/). Rarible is also planning to expand their lazy minting (free minting) process to the Tezos blockchain too, there is incredible room for growth. But say you are exploring one of these marketplaces, and you've already purchased your first Tezos NFT. How do you even go about listing it and potentially earn a huge profit? This article will guide you in listing your first NFT on Teia.
We are also going to assume the following three things: (a) You have a DeFi Tezos wallet, such as Kukai, (b) Your NFT is in your Kukai wallet, and (c) You have Tezos in your Kukai wallet. If any of these are not fulfilled, please refer to Buying Your First Tezos (XTZ) NFT on Teia for a beginner tutorial to accomplish these steps.
A little bit on definitions, and we are going to use the Alcohol Dehydrogenase – ADH1A 50/50 limited adh.colors minting as an example, which you can find here: https://teia.art/objkt/610575. BakR_D0mains is a STEM-based NFT project that releases Molecular Art (#MoleculART) from publicly available protein structures of molecules that changed the course of humanity. The adh.colors is an artistic interpretation of a molecule that helps us enjoy New Years Eve by oxidizing ethanol to acetaldehyde, an easily metabolized compound! Watch it spin on the link!
NFT assets on Teia are identified as objects, and this is OBJKT#610575. The asset identification number is permanently assigned on the Tezos blockchain. You can find the number of editions minted underneath the OBJKT picture to the right. OBJKT#610575 has a maximum mintage of 30 with 21 available for purchase at this time, which means that 20 editions were burned in their DSC testing experiments (pretty cool!).
OK, let's begin!
(1) To list your NFT, go to the Teia main page (https://teia.art/) and click "sync" 
in the upper right hand corner. A selection window will open up that looks like below. Choose Kukai wallet from the list.
When you select the Kukai Wallet, a new window should open on your internet browser, and this is to confirm syncing with Teia. (note: if a window does not appear, check your popup blocker! You might have to change some settings). A permissions request should appear in your Kukai wallet. Check that the account is correct and click "APPROVE". Now you can list that awesome alcohol dehydrogenase NFT!
(2) To list this awesome alcohol dehydrogenase NFT, direct your browser back to OBJKT#610575 at https://teia.art/objkt/610575 and click the button "swap". The term "swap" is synonymous with "list" on the Teia marketplace.
Simply fill out the fields as you wish. Let's list 1 adh.colors NFT for 1.5 Tezos. The great this is if you had multiple NFTs, you could list many at the same price. Just make sure to enter the fields in correctly.
After you click the lower "swap" button, you will notice a few prompts that appear in the top right of your screen. They will look like this:
This is your indication to check your Kukai Wallet to confirm the transaction. Depending on your browser, sometimes a window pops open automatically. I like to have both Teia and Kukai open in different tabs while I'm purchasing an NFT. This prevents any hold up. The total gas cost will always be provided in Kukai, and you have to have enough XTZ to cover the gas in order to list. The confirmation should look like below, and you simply have to click "CONFIRM" to approve the transaction to list the ADH1A NFT.

You have now anonymously been written into the history books! You can enjoy this NFT spinning directly on the Teia marketplace until someone purchases it from you. The OBJKT will no longer show up under your "Collection" tab under "Manage OBJKTs" because it is on sale. This is freaking cool!
