Hello, Satoshi clubbers Another AMA took place in Satoshi Club and we would like to introduce to you the AMA session with our friends from Poltergeist Exchange. Our guest was Daemon one of the founders of Poltergeist Exchange. The AMA took place on 7th February.
The AMA session was divided into 3 parts with a total crypto reward pool of 500$ + 700$ GHOUL.
In this AMA Recap we will try to summarise the most interesting points for you.
Part 1 — introduction and questions from the Telegram community
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Hello, dear Satoshi Clubbers!
We are happy to announce our AMA session with Poltergeist Exchange
D. | Satoshi Club: hello Satoshi club!
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Today our guest is @DaemonPoltergeist!
Daemon: Hey everyone! Thanks for having me.
D. | Satoshi Club: welcome!
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Welcome to Satoshi Club!
Daemon: Thank you !
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for joining!
Daemon: Thanks for having me! Looking forward to it
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: To begin with, please tell us a few words about yourselves and how did you get to be involved in Poltergeist Exchange
Daemon: My name is Daemon, and I am one of the founders of Poltergeist Exchange.
We started working on the concepts and ideas for Poltergeist about 6 months ago, and have been working tirelessly at making our product the best. We released Poltergeist Exchange on January 31st
D. | Satoshi Club: besides you, how many people working at the project?
Daemon: Currently there are 4 others, but we are also hiring.
We are looking for 3 more very high end developers to join our team.
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Impressive! So much work in a short time! And such a small team!
Daemon: Thank you! We are a small team now, but get sh*t done
D. | Satoshi Club: can you share information about members of your team and their roles in project? are you public team or anonymous?
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: I hope you share your achievements with us.
Daemon: We are running a privacy coin exchange that does not collect user information, so our core team is anonymous, primarily for legal reasons.
In our new hiring, we are looking to bring on some team members who are not founders, and do not have to be anonymous.
Also we know anonymous teams can be an issue, so we have planned tons of security and verification measures to make sure everyone is always happy, and knows their funds are safe. We will be doing very regular public balance verifications etc.
D. | Satoshi Club: gotcha
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for your intro! Ready for community questions?
Daemon: Bring them on!
D. | Satoshi Club: ok, let’s do this!
Q1 from Telegram user @cleotilde1
The name of your project (Poltergeist Exchange) is similar to a project called GHOST, and coincidentally GHOST is listed on your platform. Is there any relationship between your platform and the listed tokens or is your platform planning to build its own token in the future?
Daemon: There is no relation with Poltergeist and GHOST outside of we contacted all the privacy coins we planned to list several weeks ago, and GHOST was one of the proejcts that was very happy to help cross promote their listing.
Verge, Beam, and others will be listed shortly, and will be helping with cross promo too!
We try to have relationships with all projects we are working with/listing, to help with marketing, as well as development updates, wallet issues, etc etc
D. | Satoshi Club: so you list only privacy coins/tokens on your exchange?
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: By the way, we had a GHOST on AMA, if I’m not mistaken.
Daemon: And as far as our own token, our native crypto currency GHOUL has a public sale on Feb 14th!
GHOUL unlocks all the features Poltergeist has to offer! We will go into more on that soon I assume
Yes. ONLY privacy oriented projects will be listed
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Wow! So soon! We are looking forward to this event
D. | Satoshi Club: it makes you a unique exchange, privacy-oriented, cool
Daemon: Us too! Our private sale a few weeks ago sold our quickly, so I know there a lot of people looking forward to picking up some GHOUL before it goes live for trading on Uniswap/Poltergeist on March 1st
Yea no one is doing what we are doing.
As cool as our current exchange is, on December 31st, we have our final main net product coming out.
A fully decentralized cross chain privacy exchange
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: 2021 promises be hot for you as I understand it
D. | Satoshi Club: btw can you share your tokenomics with us as well?
Daemon: For sure! 2021 is the year Poltergiest Exchange takes a big chunk of the privacy coin trading volume
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Ambitious goals!
Daemon: GHOUL total supply is 100,000,000
20% Private Sale (Sold out)
40% Main Sale (Feb 14th)
15% Dev Fund (1 year lock up)
5% Uniswap Locked Liquidity
GHOUL holders receive
*100% of Poltergeist Exchange trading fees
*Reduced trading fees
*Proof of Stake rewards in the final main net version
D. | Satoshi Club: thanks!
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for sharing! Do you want to add something or can we proceed to the next question?
Daemon: You can ask the next one!
Q2 from Telegram user @kripto_mangunkusumo
Many people consider that in the future the DEX platform will be more popular than CEX due to security and privacy reasons. Why did you choose to build the CEX platform over DEX? do you have your own opinion regarding this?
Daemon: Our entire project is centered around our main net release on December 31st.
It will be a full cross chain privacy DEX like nothing else on the market.
We decided to start as a CEX to go ahead and begin growing the brand, reputation, and user base leading into our main net launch at the end of the year.
Check out our roadmap for development milestone dates on our main net release
D. | Satoshi Club:
will you have plans to release another token for your DEX? or GHOUL will be the only one?
GHOUL will be the only one, but there will be a swap later this year from the ERC20 version to our Main Net version
will it affect total supply? in which proportion swap will be? 1:1?
Daemon: Swap will be 1:1 yes
The main net version is a fully custom proof of stake blockchain.
Users will be able to stake their GHOUL and earn staking rewards in addition to earning fees from the exchange.
Once the POS blockchain is launched, the supply will increase slowly overtime from generating the blockrewards. The emission will be a very small percentage yearly.
We will post all the exact info on this in March when we release our Main Net White Paper
D. | Satoshi Club: got it! thanks! ready for the next question?
Q3 from Telegram user @NataliyaKil
Daemon: We like to collect as little information as possible on our users. All information in encrypted.
There is no name or anything like that needed when you sign up, and no KYC.
Pretty much your email address is all we really have on you, and we suggest using a different email address than your main email.
On our end, we employ the latest technolgy to make sure our products, and your funds and information are safe.
In our main net version, you will not need an email address or anything like that.
It will be a fully decentralized cross chain privacy dex
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: it makes sense.
D. | Satoshi Club: can people use VPN on your exchange? is it forbidden or not?
Daemon: Poltergeist does not have any geo restrictions but we always advise using a VPN no matter what you are doing online
D. | Satoshi Club: haha
got it, good advise
and in terms of security, you done or will you planning to do an external code audit?
Daemon: One of our goals this year is to really educate users on privacy. How to stay private and secure online, when trading, and why its important.
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Indeed
Daemon: An internal audit on our current version of our exchange was done prior to release. We will be releasing a public one next month.
And for our main net product, we will be doing several audits from very reputable companies. The code in the main net product is much much much more complicated
D. | Satoshi Club: got it, thanks! i think we ready for the next question?
Q4 from Telegram user @Brainchest
I read that Ghoul holders get a 100% of the fee. Please tell me the number of Ghoul tokens I should hold for such a discount. If I have 1 token, will I get such a discount? And imagine a situation where all users have Ghoul and get 100% discounts. What funds will be used to maintain the exchange and then what is your profit?
Daemon: GHOUL holders receive 100% of all trading fees from Poltergeist Exchange.
Additionally, if you hold 10,000 GHOUL or more you will get reduced trading fees on our exchange.
The team has and is rasing money that will fund us through the entirety of our main net launch at the end of the year.
Once we move to our main net proof of stake blockchain, the dev fund will get a very small block reward each block to help with funding, as well as the GHOUL the dev fund already has.
D. | Satoshi Club: what another benefits you can offer for your users at the current stage? do you have some affiliate programs by the way?
Daemon: In addition to fee distribution, and trading discounts, GHOUL holders receive voting rights, future POS block rewards, and more!
And yes! If you sign up for PoltergeistExchange.com you can see a ref link in your profile that currrently can get you a bunch of free GHOUL if someone uses it.
We are doing a GHOUL airdrop on February 13th for every account that has signed up for Poltergeist Exchange + a bonus if you complete 1 or more trades!
There is also a bonus available for anyone who signs up using your referral link.
The airdrop runs through February 12th 11:59pm EST
Sign up for Poltergeist Exchange = 250 GHOUL AIRDROP BONUS
Complete 1 or more trades = 1,000 GHOUL AIRDROP BONUS
Referral link sign up = 250 GHOUL AIRDROP BONUS
Ghoul Airdrops will be paid to your Poltergeist Exchange account February 13th. GHOUL public sale begins February 14th and GHOUL trading goes live March 1st!
D. | Satoshi Club: nice nice, we love airdrops here
Daemon: Make sure you sign up to get it
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: Thanks for sharing! Ready for the next question?
D. | Satoshi Club: so Satoshiclubbers if you wanna get an airdop, this is your chance
Q5 from Telegram user @Arisabela
A lot of tokens has been listed on Poltergeist Exchange this month, it says in your twitter that you’re a crypto currency exchange with a focus on anonymity and privacy coins, what are the requirements in order to list a coin to keep it anonymous and private?
Daemon: The only requirment is the project is privacy oriented and active.
We charge no fees for listing projects that qualify.
In addition to the coins we currently have listed, Verge, Monero, Grin, Beam, Zcoin, and a couple others are the next to be added
If anyone has suggestions of other privacy coins or projects they would like to see listed, feel free to suggest them in our Telegram
D. | Satoshi Club: if we with my mates will decide to create a privacy coin, will it be easy to get listing on your exchange? for the totally new and unfamous project?
Daemon: If you are a real, active project, YES it will be easy. Even if you are new.
Most privacy coins are custom blockchains that take a decent amount of time and resouces to get going and then because they are a custom blockchain exchanges want to charge addition fees for listing and maintaining it. It’s a big burden and we are going to lift that, and allow even new projects a very easy way to open up to a community of privacy oriented traders.
D. | Satoshi Club: understood, thanks!
thank you for the answer! ready for the last question from part 1?
Q6 from Telegram user @cengizhantekin
You already completed a private sale for GHOUL token, you will do a public sale in a week and the token will go live on Uniswap within 3 weeks, Poltergeist Exchange has already been launched, it is up and running. Seems like everything is on its way, therefore you plan to launch Poltergeist Mainnet at the end of this year. What items/functions will you move to your mainnet? How will you be handling those until the end of year? What new features will the mainnet bring?
Daemon: All of that is correct. We have been moving very quickly.
We sold out the GHOUL private sale in mid January, and launched Poltergeist Exchange on January 31st.
The next 2 milestone dates are
Feb 13th — GHOUL AIRDROP
Feb 14th — GHOUL PUBLIC SALE
So our exchange right now is a centralized proof of concept version of what we are building. We will take all the aspects of our current exchange. and more, and slowly build out our cross chain privacy dex.
The DEX will have a very similar look and feel as our current version, but all the functions happening in the background (funds, trades, hosting, etc) will be fully decentralized, and Poltergeist Exchange will never have any access to your funds, information, or anything.
D. | Satoshi Club:lots of things done, lots of things will be
Daemon: For sure!
D. | Satoshi Club: we hope Poltergeist will be a game-changer on privacy field
Daemon: Thanks! It will
Part 2 — live questions from the Telegram community
Q1 from Telegram user @highpee
You said all that a user need to use your Poltergeist Exchange is just an email address and there is no need to pass KYC. Am quite surprised because this is a first time am seeing a CEX operating that way. Are you doing this because as a result of your interest in privacy? Won’t this create some legal and regulatory bottleneck for you, most especially as you are not geo-restricting users who can have access to your service?
Daemon: That is correct. We are set up in several countries that are the friendliest to what we are doing + by the time we launch main net later this year, it will all be decentralized anyway.
You can trade freely on Poltergeist
Q2 from Telegram user @KhaleesiTheCryptoLady
How much fee do you charge for market maker and taker?
Daemon: Poltergeist has 0% maker fees and 0.25% taker fees with the ability to lower this by holding GHOUL

Can you indicate a feature or feature that you like best about the platform so that it can compete with other competitors? What are you most confident about for your platform? Do you have plans to get users to choose your platform???
Daemon: We are releasing encrypted chat within Poltergiest Exchange in July. I think this will be very interesting and can lead to an entire private social media push once others can build on our blockchain
Q5 from Telegram user @NataliyaKil
You have GHOUL Public Sale scheduled for February 14th. How much is allocated for this and at what price? How much GHOUL can I buy and can I use them right away?
Daemon: 40% of the supply will be sold with a starting price of $0.0125 USD
Market Cap in pubic sale is 1.25 million USD
Ghoul will open for public trading March 1st on Poltergiest and Uniswap with locked liquidity.
Q6 from Telegram user @aym1212

*Proof of Stake Rewards
Q8 from Telegram user @Astonroe
You are mostly focusing on privacy. Even you decided to list only privacy coin on your exchange. So, is it possible to do a transaction without public my information? I mean can I do anonymous transactions on GHOUL?
Daemon: On our main net version yes, you will be able to do anonymous transactions with GHOUL.
Our main net blockchain that comes out later this year will make everything private
Q9 from Telegram user @moe_808
What is the most ambitious goal of the project? I would appreciate it if you could share with us any upcoming updates? What should the community look for?
Daemon: The next 2 milestone dates are
Feb 13th — GHOUL AIRDROP
Feb 14th — GHOUL PUBLIC SALE
The best way to keep up with all of our information, updates, giveaways, etc is to join our Telegram Group
Q10 from Telegram user @Korryl
On your twitter said Poltergeist Exchange is focus in Anonymity and Privacy coin but as i see other exchanger want to delisting privacy coin because of AML and KYC regulations. How is your opinion regarding this matter?
Daemon: This is going to continue to happen. Exchanges are going to be faced with burdensome regulations and be forced to delist privacy coins.
Poltergiest will be waiting for them with an unstoppable decentralized cross chain privacy dex.
Part 3 — Quiz Results
As usual, for the third part, Satoshi Club Team asked the chat 4 questions about the crypto project. A link to a Quiz form was sent into the chat.
