Why I Have Decided To Give Read.Cash A Shot

My Initial Impression

I must say that when I first opened up an account with Read.Cash I was a little disappointed. I took a short tour checking out some of the content and happened to stumble upon some familiar personas from Publish0x. One thing I immediately noticed was that their posts performed much better on Publish0x.

Posts that would generally earn them dollars on Publish0x were earning mere cents on Read.Cash. This I found rather concerning and must admit was a bit discouraging. Why put in the effort to only earn a few cents per article?

Anyway, I continued to evaluate the site and what it has to offer. One thing I had not previously realized is how young Read.Cash is and how small the user base still is. The platform has only recently surpassed 10K users, while Publish0x has in excess of 120K users, which is more than 10X that of Read.Cash.

When you view the graph above, you can clearly see a massive surge in users since June. The user base has more than doubled in just over a month, which is rather impressive by any standards. These are users who have created accounts but what about actual active users making use of Read.Cash on a daily and weekly basis?

The number of active users is obviously less impressive but relatively strong in my opinion. To maintain an active user base of more than half of your entire user base is pretty good. You would be surprised to know how many sites boasting massive user bases only have a fraction of those users being active. Provided the numbers are accurate, it's pretty transparent of the Read.Cash team to disclose them and allow users to actually know what is happening behind the scenes.

The Read.Cash Fund

This is probably the silver lining that encouraged me to give Read.Cash a shot because the actual earnings per post are pretty low. So if you are posting articles and engaging with your audience you will at least earn BCH on a daily basis. Engaging on the platform earns you points, which in turn are converted to BCH. Your earnings from the fund are directly related to how many points you accumulate.

The fund issues approximately $137 per day, which is dispersed among those who have earned points for that day. Each day begins with zero points and you have to accumulate more each day to qualify for a payment from the fund.

These are not really impressive payments but I am currently averaging between $0.20 and $0.32 per day. This means that I can earn approximately $10 per month just from the fund. Not the biggest earnings but as you may have realized by now, Crypto is all about gathering as much as you can in as many places as possible! It all adds up a lot faster than you may think.

So, I will see how things progress on this platform and how it grows in the coming months. I hope that my posts will gather more readers and momentum in time and that the earnings become more rewarding!

I am interested to know how others are finding Read.Cash, so any experiences and opinions will be greatly valued.
