Back in 15 Feb 2020 when Zilliqa closed the token swap process of ERC-20 ZILs into mainnet ZIL, approx 1.02% of the max supply of ZIL(21 BILLION) remained unswapped and got frozen in Ethereum blockchain.

But that is about to change as ZILLIQA is buliding a solution to recover the unswapped ZILs into mainnet. A bridge will be built between ETHEREUM and ZIL chain, this bridge will also allow other ERC-20 assets as well aa ETHEREUM to be moved over to the ZILLIQA chain.
