In fact, in schools, children are taught a lot, but not quite what is really important. We do not know how to handle our finances, protect our personal boundaries, but we know the sine and cosine, which is not even useful in life.
I would like to reflect on the topic: “What would happen if they started talking about cryptocurrency in high school?”. At the same time, explaining in detail to the children how this tool helps to save money, or vice versa, how they can be lost.
To tell in cartoons what is blockchain, what is bitcoin and who is this mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto? At the same time, you can use infographics and various supporting materials, including open access videos. It was also possible to tell children about free earnings on the crypt: Crypto Box on Binance, various airdrops. And in general, you can also blog on Publish0x and earn yourself an ice cream.
I think this subject would be interesting. Cryptocurrencies are no longer a novelty, they are already our reality. Someone raised a fortune on this opportunity. Why not explain to children for the purpose of general development.
Of course, in countries where cryptocurrencies have been banned, there is no question of the Cryptonomics lesson. But progressive El Salvador could clearly pick up this idea. As for Russia, this also seems impossible so far. The school system has just recently begun to introduce lessons on financial literacy, so it's too early to talk about other tools.
From childhood, children need to be given opportunities, to open their borders. Do you agree with me?
