$SOL the $ETH Killer

Solana had an amazing cycle last time round, and was quickly dubbed the latest $ETH killer.  It turned out that the disgraced SBF and fraudulent FTX were heavily investing customers funds into the Solana ecosystem and a lot of people thought that it wouldn't make a comeback after FTX closed it's books.  Without the FTX money pumping the ecosystem Solana crashed to around $8 per coin, however, the faster transaction times, lower gas fees, and immense scalability, not to mention extremely low price of the coin, was too appealing to the crypto community.  $SOL lived up to it's name of the $ETH Killer and has massively outperformed, not just $ETH, but all of its competitors this cycle so far, recently making an all time high of $264+.

$HYPE the $SOL Killer

With Solana being the new king, it's only natural that challengers will emerge.  A lot of rumours are circulating recently that $HYPE is the latest $SOL Killer. 

Hyperliquid have launched their coin $HYPE with an absolute bang!  It was launched yesterday at around $3 per coin and is currently trading around the $10 mark, already a really nice 200% gain for a lot of people.  However, that is not the most exciting part.  Hyperliquid also launched their coin with a massive 30% of supply airdrop to early contributors of the ecosystem (not me FFS).  So if you were ever on the Hyperliquid ecosystem before November 11th, I suggest you get yourself over to their website and have a look at your wallet, there might be a nice little surprise waiting for you.  Obviously airdrops are a bit of a double edge sword, on one side you get an engaged and active community, but on the other side it means their are a lot of coins around at launch that can add a lot of selling pressure. 

Personally I think the most bullish argument for $HYPE is that it's not on any exchanges yet, price will only go higher with each listing announcement, that's IF it gets listed on any.  There is also a vibrant memecoin community already established on the blockchain which will only bring in more and more people once the stories of millionaires being made start emerging.  Sitting at a market cap of $3B it has plenty of room to grow to catch up to the likes of Solana ($100B).

So is $HYPE the $SOL Killer?
