Scot-Free or Scotland

A judge was presiding over a case where a man was accused of a minor misunderstanding. After hearing the evidence, the judge decided to be lenient.

The judge looked at the man and said, I’m in a good mood today, so I’m dismissing all charges. You are free to leave this courtroom and go scot-free!

The man looked confused and a little disappointed. He leaned into the microphone and said:

But Your Honor, I don’t want to go scot-free... I want to go Scotland!
