As you may recall, Elon Musk's Boring Company announced late last year that they would be selling 30,000 limited edition bottles of unisex perfume/cologne called Burnt Hair. Please see my previous posts on the subject matter, in case you missed or are looking for a refresher:
Anyway, an update has finally arrived to those who pre-ordered the fragrance:
As you can see, the new arrival date is May 2023. That is just a few months after the initial expected shipment of Q1 2023. So while I am a bit disappointed in the delay, I am glad that a more concrete timeline has been established as to when I should get my unique fragrance in the mail. Truthfully, I feel like I've really hopped on a bandwagon by pre-ordering Burnt Hair but, admittedly, I caught a case of FOMO when it went on sale. What a marketing gimmick!
They aren't exactly "going like hotcakes" on eBay, though people are still buying them at inflated prices above the initial $100 price point:
