Good evening fellow P0x'ers. My post from last night really got me to thinking about all the old tipping tokens we've seen on the platform over the past three years. Specifically, I couldn't stop thinking about the remaining SPOT I had just sitting in my wallet.

Whatever is there to do with it? I've already created a liquidity pair, and I really didn't want to shell out more stablecoins to add to the vault. So, I got to thinking: how can I turn my SPOT into Bitcoin? Unfortunately, there is not a direct route. However, I'm posting to share that there is a roundabout way to do so. First, I swapped my SPOT for ETH.

This was the most expensive step of the way; as you can see it cost me nearly $11 in gas fees. It's really no matter, as all the ETH I have accumulated was courtesy of P0x.

A small provider fee brings the total in fees so far to $11.17, a good chunk of what's initially being swapped but we need to turn this SPOT into satoshis!!

Success! Thank you 1inch for your services on the first part of this adventure. My SPOT has now become ETH. The next step is pretty straightforward. The ETH now needs to be swapped for Bitcoin. For that, we wall call upon THORChain.

A small provider fee and network fee puts the total for this transaction at $12.20, $0.39 worth of BTC and $11.81 in ETH.

So, when you consider the fees, the initial $57.02 in SPOT has been turned into $44.82 worth of Bitcoin. But, since I've no fiat actually invested here, the loss doesn't really feel like a loss. All crypto used was courtesy of Publish0x. Shoutout to the P0x staff and all my followers for the support throughout the years. Couldn't have done it without the help of the community here!
